Really excellent job. You give honda owners a good name. Not like the shit storm of owners over here in Newburgh. Bunch of shit cans. Middletown has some nice tuners as well, if you look hard enough. I'm a huge Audi/VW fan, but you definitely get a lot of credit from even someone who isn't too fond of the Japanese Motor. Myself. Great work, once again.
@moeschizlac uh...tibby's were a complete POS like all hyundai's up till recently...if this lude still had the h22 it would smoke every tibby up till the genesis replaced them.
@Ge0vone ..been doing a little research, none of the J-series engines have DOHC.. All SOHC.. Really Nice Swap regardless! Honda shoulda done this from the start!
@danktrain420 ..But in a less expensive car like the Prelude, and in my opinion a bit more stylish than the Accord (<- being the least expensive on that list), it would have been a great factory setup.
@R1mez You can get a nice used tl for around 8-12k, I do agree it would be nice though. I have a jdm h22a in my prelude right now actually :). I did have an 07 civic si before it was totaled by an f350...i'd have to say very impressive stock honda. The electronic power steering was amazing during SCCA
@danktrain420 That Prelude sounds nice! Sorry to hear about the Civic Si, though. My older brother is the one really into Honda and tuning. He had a few bubbles come and go, pretty nice ones. But he had to get rid of them unfortunately. He's actually very much interested in this j32 swap into the next bubble he gets, whenever he can afford a project car.
@R1mez Nice I would love to do a j swap next, but all my money is tied up in finishing a ls/vtec for my ek sedan. I think once my h22 goes I'll try my hand in dropping a j32 in there, only problem is my h22 only has about 70k on it...guess imma have to beat the shit out of her then lol.
I miss driving bubbles...already got the prelude though, and need a family mobile with the kid.
@danktrain420 I hear ya, that was one of my brothers dilemmas also, needs a family car, but still wants a nice tuner honda. But Sounds like you have a long way to go with that h22, get to beatin! lol!
You should get some videos up of your ek when it's done. Hell, Prelude too, why not, ha!
@R1mez I'm so damn busy making vids is last on my list lol. I actually just got done replacing my prelude's axles, so the car is filthy...might get my girl to do an in car film for me. Waiting on my tax return so I can turn it into a motor for the ek...still debating on what to drop in there, looking to spend between 3500-4000 so I got decent options. Might just go gsr and call it a day.
@danktrain420 Build yourself an H2B setup for that much...better than any B series swap hands down....cheap is an F20B with GSR trans - high 12's easily
Thats awesome man, been a dream of mine for a little while now, and know now its possible, my H22 is fun, but that's what the Prelude should have been equipped with not to mention the 6spd manual tranny.
@phateracing were the fuck u been at that year as for 94 accords came v6 from the factory....the 3.2 is the same shit they had a 2.2 sohc and the 3.0 v6
@rey0176 Hey dipshit, the V6 accord came out in 1995, but the 1995-1997 accord V6 had a front end that is 4 inches longer than the 4 cylinder ones. They also did not have the same V6 as the later accords. They had the C27, a 2.7L non-vtec 90 degree V6 that was used in the Acura Legend, and was only available with an automatic.
I have a 1997 4 cylinder accord, which has a completely different front end than a V6, and was asking about the J-series, vtec 60 degree V6. Not "same shit" at all.
this is insane. finally done successfully after so many years. any more information on the swap itself? How much--mounts; axles; wiring; fabrication; rad and rad support???
DAMN! FUCKIN SICK!

@Canazn92 I wasn't talking about speed. I was talking about the fact that it is a sports compact car with a v6 like the Hyundau Tiburon GT

Does the hood close? I want to put one of these into a 97 accord, but hood-closing is mandatory.
