It makes me sick that people look up to this man, ok so he's a great basketball player, but he admitted to having slept with over 1000 women! And he acts like he doesn't want to marry anyone because no one "compares" to him? sounds like a very arrogant person. I rue the day I see a woman admit this and get any type of respect from anyone. He is a glorified whore. And until he changes that aspect of his life he gets no praise form me!
@ThemintPattie lmao you know how idiotic you sound? He's a honest guy who lived a happy and honest life. You mad about that? So what if his values about relationships with women are not the same as yours, he probably was unfortunate and never found the right one. Love is hard to find. He gets money, gets bitches, and gave back to the community and he did it all legally. I don't see anything wrong with that.
damn, dig the part where Wilt implies that Bill Russell is "not a happy man." Those dudes disliked each other back in the day a lot more than they said in those hagiographic documentaries made after Wilt's death.
Wilts interview was in the 80's so he CANT comment on the 90's because it hasnt happened yet. But it does show that Wilt recognizes the progress in the game.
STFU, "nobody thinks wilt chamberlain cry". Eat a dick. You are a melodramatic asshole. You wish that you were 20,000 women so you could suck Wilt's dick that many times and make him cry by biting his peen.
I'm really not sure what to think about Wilt Chamberlain, but I cannot deny he was amazing. I'm still sticking with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the greatest center of all time.
Could Wilt take Lebron, Kobe, or Jordan if he played know and everybody was in their prime. Can somebody run a simiulation program like they do in Deadliest Warrior and run the simulation 5,000 games who is the best?
My dad was at that game against Kansas City and i have a picture hanging on my wall that he took from that night where Wilt and Kareem were shaking hands.
its funny to me how wilt is saying about the 80s(commonly referred to as greatest decade in basketball) is the same thing guys say about players today. brings up the question if players today are really given a fair analysis. just something to think about
@coffee468 I was thinking the same thing. It's like Barkley,Jordan,Magic, etc.,forget how it felt to be judged and have fingers pointed at them for there short comings. At times they come off as haters of this generation of ballers, the same generation that their games helped shape, smh.
I still don't think they're too far off. Elite athleticism will get you far today if you have even the slightest skill to go along with it. Fundamental skills have seemingly corroded decade by decade. Couple that w/ a younger draft pool, with fewer years of training, & you get fumbling brutes like Bron as the league's top star instead of Magic & Bird. Wilt says that as a player who made it a personal point to develop new skills in the Summer. Stars like Melo come back the same player every year.
@nonplayerzealot4 you're probably right but i don't think its as bad as some ppl make it seem. some ppl act like every championship team from the 80s would sweep every championship from the 00s
@coffee468 I agree. I do think people's assessments on todays players can be a little unfair. We look at guys like Allen Iverson(when he was still in his prime) Melo or Lebron, who just seem to rely soley on there God given talent and athletic ability to get by when you have guys like Kobe, Kevin Durant, Dirk, Derrick Rose, Ray Allen, Chris Paul etc who are always in the gym working on and improving there game, if not perfecting it. These guys still love and respect the game.
Nother comment from Wilt that hit me now is when he was discussing Shaq back in 92. He said he had it in his mind that he didn't want to be known as a dunk machine, so he worked hard at developing finesse shots--one of them a fading banker, & also finger rolls. Wilt did say maybe he should've just tore the rim down instead, but it's still a peek into the POV of stars in his day, which was to work to be a player with a wide range of skills. And Dr J. His finesse was more amazing than his power.
@marzilyas Haha, c'mon, bro. I think I meant to imply something about his less-than stellar handle and his post game. Adequate shooter, but not a great one. Those are things that go under the "fundamentals" category. Great strength is barreling at people on offense, traveling be damned. He's super at it, but I compared him to Mag/Bird by name in that post. I think it's fair to consider them better practiced in both finesse skills (dribbling / shooting) and post skills.
@Sage80 lmao..oh ok...so hakeem olajuwon didn't outplay kareem abdul jabbar in nearly every facet of basketball in the 85-86 season..and sent the SHOWTIME lakers home packing in 5 games?? lol whats really extraordinary is that hakeem did this with ralph sampson as his side kick!! kareem had the best point guard to ever play the game in magic johnson along with james worthy and a better supporting cast in general and hakeem still spanked that ass..so much for your theory!
@youz1uglybish you gonna be ok? Kareem was about 40 at the time. I didn't say Hakeem didn't outplay him in one season toward the end of his career. I said that overall, it's not even comparable. Who's the NBA's leading scorer, all time? You're obviously from Houston, so nothing you say should be taken seriously. How many rings did he win in the 80s? Exactly.
@Sage80 lol kareem was 38 at the time and posted better numbers in that season then he did 5 years prior..kareem played very well in 86 so him being old is a poor excuse! and again championships are a team effort and were speaking on individual play! if you say that kareem was on better teams in the 80's i'd agree whole heartedly but was kareem better than hakeem in the 80's absolutley not..im from miami fl its a long ways from houston good try though
@youz1uglybish Kareem won 6 MVPS awards from 1970-1980. Are you insane? Even MJ has't won 6. Kareem is all time much higher on the list than Hakeem. I didn't say he was better in the 80s. I said he is better overall on the all time list. Hakeem's greatness did not fully bloom until the 90s. He was not an all time center yet in the 80s, if his career ended in 89. The fact that Kareem won Finals MVP in 85, past his prime, show how great he was. You seem distressed. you okay?
@Sage80 i meant to say 4 years prior..typing a little to quickly!! i didn't say that he was an all-time great by the 80's i was simply pointing out the fact that hakeem arguably from his rookie season in 84 was the best center in the league until the late 90's..hakeem had no major flaws in his game at all..when you look back on wilt and shaq you can say well they coudnt make a free throw to save their lives or maybe kareem wasnt a game changer defensivley hakeem had a complete game like no other
@youz1uglybish his flaw was not being able to average 50 points a game, lead the league in assists, average 20 rebounds a game, shoot 72% for an entire season. Are you making a list of all around players, or best players? Cause if that's the case, Oscar Robertson is better than Michael Jordan. Hakeem lacked in many areas. You're obviously a shill for Hakeem. Tell me when he led the entire league in assists. Lamar Odom is a better all around player than Shaq. Who you taking?
@Sage80 lol todays nba won't allow anyone to average 50ppg..number 1 the game has become alot more strategic when wilt played there where upwards of 20+ shot attempts per game the speed of the game was alot faster in those days! more possesions translates into more shot attempts which then equates to inflated stats all across the board! if hakeem, shaq, david robinson, pat ewing played in the 50's and 60's chances are pretty great that they would have put up the same numbers if not better!
@Sage80 if you honestly think that wilt would have scored 50 ppg in the 90's your cearly on drugs that shit woudnt happen for a number of reasons! hakeem olajuwon got alot of his point from the perimeter so that in it self all but disqualifies him from having a 72% season...im looking at hakeem from a stand point of being a great defender/rebounder, a great scorer and closer down the stretch,a champion, and having 1 of the best all around games of any center ive ever seen!
@youz1uglybish Actually, it would've been easier for him. In the 60s, defenses got away with much more, & ruels were instituted to help offense. If anything, he would've scored more. Walt Frazier just claimed Wilt would score 75 a game today. I think he knows more about the game then & now than you do. Wilt was a much better rebounder and defender than Hakeem. You're looking for excuses. Nobody in the world thinks Hakeem ranks ahead of Wilt or Kareem. Deal with it. Stop dreaming.
@Sage80 can't see him scoring more with less shot attempts...and not to mention how much more athletic the nba has become since his days..wilt was a phenomenal athlete in an era that lacked elite athleticism there arent many guys in his era that could perform just as well today as they did in the 60's...lmao you honestly think jerry west would still be an elite guard in todays game...he coudnt put the ball on the floor now a days without turning the ball over
@Sage80 lmao michael jordan has said that if he could have played with any center in the history of basketball it would be hakeem olajuwon lol shaq a top 5 center in his own right says he's number 1 walt frazier isnt qualified enough to hang MJ'S jock strap around his neck...if he thinks wilt would score 75 per game anytime within the past 20 years he must be sipping on that same retard juice that wilt was sipping on when he said that shit in an interview..im not saying wilt coudnt play but dam
@youz1uglybish Jordan never played against Wilt. Again, there is not one basketball expert who would put Hakeem ahead of wilt. You're insane if that's what your'e trying to argue. you're fighting a losing battle. You probably don't know who frazier is. He's seen it all. One of the greatest PGs to ever play. Why would you assume someone who wasnt even alive would know better than someone who was playing? your arguments are stupid.
@Sage80 lol and walt never played against hakeem...michael jordan was drafted 4 years after walt frazier retired how on earth does he not know who walt frazier was??same with wilt chamberlain i could imagine jordan watched basketball b4 he played the sport...look man you can think what ever the hell you want personally i dont give a shit! hakeem is top 5 on just about every list you can think of you cant compare stats of modern day basketball to stats of stone age ball everything was different
@youz1uglybish Walt witnessed both. I said YOU don't know who Frazier was, not MJ. Frazier retired in 1980. MJ was drafted in 1984. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Hakeem is top 5, but he's not #1.
@Sage80 wtf?? i said michael jordan was drafted 4 years after walt frazier retired!!! im just going to assume you mis read that..but i do know who walt frazier is he's easily one of the top 5 best point guards to ever play this game (defensivley) with the exception of gary payton and jason kidd i think he's the best to ever do it!
@Sage80 at the end of the day you can pick any guy out of the consensus top 5 which on most ppls list is wilt, bill russell, kareem, shaq and hakeem and make a case for any one of them!!! i just feel like hakeem by far is the most well rounded of the bunch..wilt and shaq could never be closers in todays game you simply cant go to a guy in crunch time down the stretch if he cant make his free throws plain and simple...that leaves us with kareem and olajuwon..its a matter of opinion!
@Sage80 lmao and you say there is not obe basketball expert that thinks hakeem is better than wilt..so i take it jordans not an expert..or shaq...but walt frazier is an expert..lol thats hilarious..they need to do a special on tnt to see what kenny the jet smith, charles barkley, hell even throw in steven a smith and skip bayless on this 1...i wanna see how many of them would take wilt in the 60's and hakeem in the 90's to play for there team if they where building 1...answers might surprise you!
@youz1uglybish Jordan never said that Hakeem ranked ahead of Russell or Wilt. Show me the quote. I've heard Jordan say that he refuses to consider himself the greatest of all time because he never played against Wilt or Russell, so he doesn't know. He certanily believes he was greater than Hakeem. Ive seen everyone on TNT address this, and Magic & Barkley all said they'd put Russell behind Jordan at #2. Larry Bird said Wilt was #1. Your argument fails again.
@Sage80 if i had to pick a center i would take olajuwon.that leaves out shaq, patrick ewing.it leaves out wilt chamberlain it leaves out alot of ppl.and the reason i would take olajuwon is very simple:he is so versatile because of what he can give you from that position its not just scoring not just rebounding or not just his blocked shots.ppl dont realize he was in the top 7 in steals he always made great decisions on the court for all facets of the game i have to give it to him -Michael jordan
@Sage80 thats the exact quote google it! would you like me to give you kobes and shaqs and every one elses too?? lol man im done you can beleive what you want but hakeem IMO is the greatest center of all time if you wanna go with wilt, russell or kareem thats great..atleast your not telling me it was fucking yao ming or some shit..your entitled to your own opinion just as i am!
@Sage80 and again as far as nba experts go...look kareem abdul jabbar was an assistant coach for the lakers..lol but kobe decides to work with hakeem olajuwon over the summer to work on his post game..not only kobe but josh smith, dwight howard most recently lebron james an a slew of others...kobe bryant himself has said that hakeem was the best post player ever..but who the hell is kobe bryant, shaquille oneal, michael jordan to say such a thing there no experts..lmao gtfo of here with that
@youz1uglybish what does that have to do with all time ranking? That's completely irrelevant. All your arguments are. You need to give it up & get a basketball education. Check all the rankings of all time players. The NBA top 75, as well as the newer top 50. Hakeem isn't even in the top 10 in both of those, ranked by players, coaches, & experts. Wilt & Russell are always in the top 5. Wilt, Russ & Kareem have a combined 15 MVPS. Hakeem has one. Love Hakeem, but all 3 are better.
@Sage80 dude..you have to stop holding double standards..you tell me that no nba experts think the way that i do..i prove you wrong...you tell me what walt frazier said as if that shit is relevant but when i tell you what greater players have said such as jordan and kobe bryant you then tell me its irrelevant!the nba top 50 is based on numbers and championships...you cant ever compete with players in the 60's and 70's based on numbers the game was much different back then
@youz1uglybish and it's not based on championships, because if it was Russell would always rank ahead of Jordan. I'm done arguing, because arguing with fools only forces people who are educated to stoop to their level. when you get a clue about logical consistency, as you've violated it endlessly, or basketball. come talk to me. I don't even think you know what point you're trying to make anymore. You're just talking nonsense cause that's what retards do.
@Sage80 omg...lol i said its based on numbers AND CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!!! the only retard here is you..russell had the hardware but he could never match jordans numbers there for no 1 will ever put him ahead of jordan you bring up the opinion of former great players and then say its irrelevant when i do the same..your full of shit to the max extent!
@youz1uglybish You're ridiculous. Talk about a double standard. You said it didn't matter that Kareem had 4 more chips than Hakeem, and now it suddenly matters...unless you have numbers...then it doesn't. Basketball is a team sport. Russell led 11 teams to rings. Jordan barely half that. to the max extent? what does that even mean? You must be scandinavian.
@Sage80 look no 1 will ever match wilt chamberlain as far as stats go..and its not because no 1 will ever be as talented as chamberlain its that there playing in a different era and the game is much different..imo kareem abdul jabbar was better than wilt but he could never put up 50ppg..he probably would have in the eary 60's but the talent level in the nba rose sharply in the 70's and continued to do so each decade..the talent pool right now in the nba is as deep as its ever been!
@Sage80 wilt dominated his era like no other..but hypothetically speaking in his era i beleive there are a number of players who could have done just as well..there is no answer to this there for its a matter of opinion! its hard for me to imagine olajuwon widley reguarded as the best post player in nba history woudnt do just as well in the 60's as wilt chamberlain did..do i beleive wilt was more dominant in his era? YES..do i think he was a better player than hakeem or kareem for that matter NO
@youz1uglybish you're wrong. Wilt was the most athletic player in NBA history. You don't sound like you know much about him. I'd read a new article about him that debunks the idea that any 7 fter wouldve had his #s at the time (he wasn't the only 7 fter btw). Again, there is no one who's remotely respected in bball that ranks Hakeem ahead of Wilt. No one. Does being the best post player mean havign teh most moves or getting the most points? No one serious is making that argument.
@Sage80 lol man i've heard it all...iv'e heard about his 50 inch vertical, his 550lb bench press him sleeping with 20,000 women..theres no way in hell he has a 50 inch vertical..maybe earlier in his career he may have been a legit 40 though he cleared a 6'6 bar and that means he had to get atleast 40 inches off the ground to do so
@Sage80 what ppl dont seem to understand is that athleticism is useless if you dont know how to fully apply it to your perspective sport...barry sanders the greatest RB ever wasnt the fastest running back in the 40 yard dash but his footwork was the best of any running back in nfl history bar none! lol wilt chamberlains foot work is horrible there is no way he could have maximized his athletic ability with the footwork and ball skills he possesed if youve ever played basketball you know this
@youz1uglybish just stop talking, because you sound like a complete retard. Chamberlain was an atheltic freak in track & field, in addition to volleyball & basketball. You have NO idea what you're talking about. You're just making up facts to try and prove your useless point. Ask Bill Russell if Wilt was lacking in footwork. Right...50 points a game is a strong sign of terrible footwork. Hakeem couldnt dream of filling wilt's shoes. And if you ask him, he'll tell you the same.
@Sage80 your right..its pretty useless talking to you..wilt has his cock buried so deep in your ass you cant even see straight! lol wilt is the god of all sports according to you no 1 has been or never will be as talented thats your opinion man you wont rub that bullshit off on me have a good day
@youz1uglybish If he does, then he has his cock buried deep in 100% of basketball experts as well, who ALWAYS rank him #2 behind MJ. Whereas you're butthurt for Hakeem in a way that no one else outside of Houston could ever be.
@youz1uglybish wilt was the most dominant player in nba history. u can only compare players to others in the same era, as environments and lifestyles change. if hakeem was born in the 40's im sure hed be a diff player than he was. therefore u sir, r an idiot
@weiyuho im very aware that sports evolve with time..improvements in lifestyle, dietary supplements etc have a great impact on improving ahleticism and that players like hakeem olajuwon, shaq etc had a big edge over guys who played in the 50's and 60's...the only thing is I DO acknowledge this there for if your going to ask me who was a better player im going to tell the truth..ppl think that wilt from the 60's could score 75ppg in the 90's and i tell them there on crack it would never happen
But that's just it. Wilt dominated his era without any of the benefits players are spoiled with today, like trainers, doctors, nutritionists, ankle supported shoes and padded courts with shock absorption, hotel stays, chartered flights, looser game calls, etc. Wilt, Bill, Oscar, Nate, Elgin, and Jerry had no such things for them. That's why if they adapted to today's game many believe they'll perform even better. Not total proof but still somewhat fair reasoning.
@weiyuho your argument works both ways sir...you cant assume wilt would do the same shit in modern day basketball and then dis miss some one elses argument that hakeem could have put up the same numbers in wilts era! i think its very subjective in that reguard because all were talking about is speculation! smh ppl assume that wilt in modern times would have been about 7'6 and 365lbs but are quick to point out that modern day centers woudnt have been as skilled in the 60's or as athletic
@youz1uglybish Ask anybody that has seen wilt & hakeem play. Theyll tell you. Even on a bad knee and in his 30s, he completely dominated Kareem in the 72 playoffs. His numbers are so huge, that ppl take for granted & believe it MUST have been because of a lack of competition. That's pure ignorance. Go google 'NBA: Is Wilt Chamberlain the Most Undersold Superstar in NBA History?' Hakeem couldn't dominate Shaq, much less Wilt who was much better.
@Sage80 wilt did no such thing..i have complete stats of wilt and kareem going head to head in the playoffs and kareems numbers are much better than wilts! kareem abdul jabbar was the best center in basketball from his second year as an nba player possibly until hakeem olajuwon came around in 84...i dont care if wilt was in his prime that sky hook was simply unstoppable it woudnt have mattered if wilt was 30 or 25..in the 72 playoffs kareem thoroughly outplayed wilt in every single game!
@youz1uglybish You're an idiot. because of the fact you can't make a valid argument, you're putting words in my mouth & making it look like i affirmed anything you said. you're clearly clueless. It doesn't matter how great the player was. what matters is that FRAZIER saw them both play in their prime. Jordan NEVER saw Russell play, or played against him. By Jordan's own words, he would have to beat Wilt & Russ to consider himself the best. Stop arguing. you're disgracing urself.
@youz1uglybish Shaq grew up watching Hakeem. He idolized him. So it's no shock that he says that's his biggest influence. Still says wilt is the most dominant player of all time. You realize that no one who knows anything about the game ranks Hakeem ahead of Russell, Kareem, or Wilt...or even Shaq, right? You're in a dream world if you think otherwise. you can keep loling and lmaoing to try to hide from the fact that your argument is retarded.
@Sage80 lol growing up i idolized charles barkley..but i'd never tell anyone he was better than michael jordan..reguardless of who you idolize there has to be some truth and reasoning behind picking a guy as the best to ever play the game! shaq said himself that if he was in wilt and bill russells era of basketball he'd be every bit as good as both of them..i tend to beleive that...along with hakeem, pat ewing etc
@youz1uglybish Shaq also thinks that Kazaam is a good movie. Him saying he's the best ever is not a persuasive argument. Wilt was averaging 20 rebounds a game in the 70s, in his 30s. You beileve it more because you want it to be so than on any kind of basketball study. Anyone who watched them all play in their prime knows what the answer is. You can't build a legacy on hypotheticals. The truth is Russell won 11 rings. Shaq won 4.
@Sage80 wilt averaged 20 rebounds and 50 ppg in the land before time...that shit was done seemingly a 100 years ago..the game of basketball has changed drastically since he's done this..russell is no where near the games greatest player.i can atleast 7 players at his position that i would rather have on a team..what russell was is the greatest WINNER in nba history theres a big difference!

@nonplayerzealot4 Lebron James is hardly a "fumbling brute." Let's not be hyperbolic.
marzilyas 2 months ago
@marzilyas Haha, c'mon, bro. I think I meant to imply something about his less-than stellar handle and his post game. Adequate shooter, but not a great one. Those are things that go under the "fundamentals" category. Great strength is barreling at people on offense, traveling be damned. He's super at it, but I compared him to Mag/Bird by name in that post. I think it's fair to consider them better practiced in both finesse skills (dribbling / shooting) and post skills.

@nonplayerzealot4 I'm just flattered you responded to one my posts. U R THA MAN!!!

@nonplayerzealot4 could Lebron James have played in the NFL?

@coffee468 which 80s center was as good as wilt, russ, or kareem? Moses maybe comes close. who else?
Sage80 3 weeks ago in playlist Favorite videos
@Sage80 hakeem olajuwon..hands down the most complete center the game has ever witnessed!
youz1uglybish 2 weeks ago
@youz1uglybish Hakeem flourished in the 90s. And even at his peak never even approached Wilt, or Kareem or Russell.
Sage80 2 weeks ago
@Sage80 lmao..oh ok...so hakeem olajuwon didn't outplay kareem abdul jabbar in nearly every facet of basketball in the 85-86 season..and sent the SHOWTIME lakers home packing in 5 games?? lol whats really extraordinary is that hakeem did this with ralph sampson as his side kick!! kareem had the best point guard to ever play the game in magic johnson along with james worthy and a better supporting cast in general and hakeem still spanked that ass..so much for your theory!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish you gonna be ok? Kareem was about 40 at the time. I didn't say Hakeem didn't outplay him in one season toward the end of his career. I said that overall, it's not even comparable. Who's the NBA's leading scorer, all time? You're obviously from Houston, so nothing you say should be taken seriously. How many rings did he win in the 80s? Exactly.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 lol kareem was 38 at the time and posted better numbers in that season then he did 5 years prior..kareem played very well in 86 so him being old is a poor excuse! and again championships are a team effort and were speaking on individual play! if you say that kareem was on better teams in the 80's i'd agree whole heartedly but was kareem better than hakeem in the 80's absolutley not..im from miami fl its a long ways from houston good try though
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Kareem won 6 MVPS awards from 1970-1980. Are you insane? Even MJ has't won 6. Kareem is all time much higher on the list than Hakeem. I didn't say he was better in the 80s. I said he is better overall on the all time list. Hakeem's greatness did not fully bloom until the 90s. He was not an all time center yet in the 80s, if his career ended in 89. The fact that Kareem won Finals MVP in 85, past his prime, show how great he was. You seem distressed. you okay?
Sage80 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish also, he posted 26.2 5 years prior. 23.4 in 86. you're full of crap.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 i meant to say 4 years prior..typing a little to quickly!! i didn't say that he was an all-time great by the 80's i was simply pointing out the fact that hakeem arguably from his rookie season in 84 was the best center in the league until the late 90's..hakeem had no major flaws in his game at all..when you look back on wilt and shaq you can say well they coudnt make a free throw to save their lives or maybe kareem wasnt a game changer defensivley hakeem had a complete game like no other
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish his flaw was not being able to average 50 points a game, lead the league in assists, average 20 rebounds a game, shoot 72% for an entire season. Are you making a list of all around players, or best players? Cause if that's the case, Oscar Robertson is better than Michael Jordan. Hakeem lacked in many areas. You're obviously a shill for Hakeem. Tell me when he led the entire league in assists. Lamar Odom is a better all around player than Shaq. Who you taking?
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 lol todays nba won't allow anyone to average 50ppg..number 1 the game has become alot more strategic when wilt played there where upwards of 20+ shot attempts per game the speed of the game was alot faster in those days! more possesions translates into more shot attempts which then equates to inflated stats all across the board! if hakeem, shaq, david robinson, pat ewing played in the 50's and 60's chances are pretty great that they would have put up the same numbers if not better!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 if you honestly think that wilt would have scored 50 ppg in the 90's your cearly on drugs that shit woudnt happen for a number of reasons! hakeem olajuwon got alot of his point from the perimeter so that in it self all but disqualifies him from having a 72% season...im looking at hakeem from a stand point of being a great defender/rebounder, a great scorer and closer down the stretch,a champion, and having 1 of the best all around games of any center ive ever seen!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Actually, it would've been easier for him. In the 60s, defenses got away with much more, & ruels were instituted to help offense. If anything, he would've scored more. Walt Frazier just claimed Wilt would score 75 a game today. I think he knows more about the game then & now than you do. Wilt was a much better rebounder and defender than Hakeem. You're looking for excuses. Nobody in the world thinks Hakeem ranks ahead of Wilt or Kareem. Deal with it. Stop dreaming.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 can't see him scoring more with less shot attempts...and not to mention how much more athletic the nba has become since his days..wilt was a phenomenal athlete in an era that lacked elite athleticism there arent many guys in his era that could perform just as well today as they did in the 60's...lmao you honestly think jerry west would still be an elite guard in todays game...he coudnt put the ball on the floor now a days without turning the ball over
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 lmao michael jordan has said that if he could have played with any center in the history of basketball it would be hakeem olajuwon lol shaq a top 5 center in his own right says he's number 1 walt frazier isnt qualified enough to hang MJ'S jock strap around his neck...if he thinks wilt would score 75 per game anytime within the past 20 years he must be sipping on that same retard juice that wilt was sipping on when he said that shit in an interview..im not saying wilt coudnt play but dam
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Jordan never played against Wilt. Again, there is not one basketball expert who would put Hakeem ahead of wilt. You're insane if that's what your'e trying to argue. you're fighting a losing battle. You probably don't know who frazier is. He's seen it all. One of the greatest PGs to ever play. Why would you assume someone who wasnt even alive would know better than someone who was playing? your arguments are stupid.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 lol and walt never played against hakeem...michael jordan was drafted 4 years after walt frazier retired how on earth does he not know who walt frazier was??same with wilt chamberlain i could imagine jordan watched basketball b4 he played the sport...look man you can think what ever the hell you want personally i dont give a shit! hakeem is top 5 on just about every list you can think of you cant compare stats of modern day basketball to stats of stone age ball everything was different
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Walt witnessed both. I said YOU don't know who Frazier was, not MJ. Frazier retired in 1980. MJ was drafted in 1984. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Hakeem is top 5, but he's not #1.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 wtf?? i said michael jordan was drafted 4 years after walt frazier retired!!! im just going to assume you mis read that..but i do know who walt frazier is he's easily one of the top 5 best point guards to ever play this game (defensivley) with the exception of gary payton and jason kidd i think he's the best to ever do it!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 at the end of the day you can pick any guy out of the consensus top 5 which on most ppls list is wilt, bill russell, kareem, shaq and hakeem and make a case for any one of them!!! i just feel like hakeem by far is the most well rounded of the bunch..wilt and shaq could never be closers in todays game you simply cant go to a guy in crunch time down the stretch if he cant make his free throws plain and simple...that leaves us with kareem and olajuwon..its a matter of opinion!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 lmao and you say there is not obe basketball expert that thinks hakeem is better than wilt..so i take it jordans not an expert..or shaq...but walt frazier is an expert..lol thats hilarious..they need to do a special on tnt to see what kenny the jet smith, charles barkley, hell even throw in steven a smith and skip bayless on this 1...i wanna see how many of them would take wilt in the 60's and hakeem in the 90's to play for there team if they where building 1...answers might surprise you!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Jordan never said that Hakeem ranked ahead of Russell or Wilt. Show me the quote. I've heard Jordan say that he refuses to consider himself the greatest of all time because he never played against Wilt or Russell, so he doesn't know. He certanily believes he was greater than Hakeem. Ive seen everyone on TNT address this, and Magic & Barkley all said they'd put Russell behind Jordan at #2. Larry Bird said Wilt was #1. Your argument fails again.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 if i had to pick a center i would take olajuwon.that leaves out shaq, patrick ewing.it leaves out wilt chamberlain it leaves out alot of ppl.and the reason i would take olajuwon is very simple:he is so versatile because of what he can give you from that position its not just scoring not just rebounding or not just his blocked shots.ppl dont realize he was in the top 7 in steals he always made great decisions on the court for all facets of the game i have to give it to him -Michael jordan
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 thats the exact quote google it! would you like me to give you kobes and shaqs and every one elses too?? lol man im done you can beleive what you want but hakeem IMO is the greatest center of all time if you wanna go with wilt, russell or kareem thats great..atleast your not telling me it was fucking yao ming or some shit..your entitled to your own opinion just as i am!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 and again as far as nba experts go...look kareem abdul jabbar was an assistant coach for the lakers..lol but kobe decides to work with hakeem olajuwon over the summer to work on his post game..not only kobe but josh smith, dwight howard most recently lebron james an a slew of others...kobe bryant himself has said that hakeem was the best post player ever..but who the hell is kobe bryant, shaquille oneal, michael jordan to say such a thing there no experts..lmao gtfo of here with that
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish what does that have to do with all time ranking? That's completely irrelevant. All your arguments are. You need to give it up & get a basketball education. Check all the rankings of all time players. The NBA top 75, as well as the newer top 50. Hakeem isn't even in the top 10 in both of those, ranked by players, coaches, & experts. Wilt & Russell are always in the top 5. Wilt, Russ & Kareem have a combined 15 MVPS. Hakeem has one. Love Hakeem, but all 3 are better.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 dude..you have to stop holding double standards..you tell me that no nba experts think the way that i do..i prove you wrong...you tell me what walt frazier said as if that shit is relevant but when i tell you what greater players have said such as jordan and kobe bryant you then tell me its irrelevant!the nba top 50 is based on numbers and championships...you cant ever compete with players in the 60's and 70's based on numbers the game was much different back then
youz1uglybish 1 week ago

Sage80 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish and it's not based on championships, because if it was Russell would always rank ahead of Jordan. I'm done arguing, because arguing with fools only forces people who are educated to stoop to their level. when you get a clue about logical consistency, as you've violated it endlessly, or basketball. come talk to me. I don't even think you know what point you're trying to make anymore. You're just talking nonsense cause that's what retards do.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 omg...lol i said its based on numbers AND CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!!! the only retard here is you..russell had the hardware but he could never match jordans numbers there for no 1 will ever put him ahead of jordan you bring up the opinion of former great players and then say its irrelevant when i do the same..your full of shit to the max extent!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish You're ridiculous. Talk about a double standard. You said it didn't matter that Kareem had 4 more chips than Hakeem, and now it suddenly matters...unless you have numbers...then it doesn't. Basketball is a team sport. Russell led 11 teams to rings. Jordan barely half that. to the max extent? what does that even mean? You must be scandinavian.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 look no 1 will ever match wilt chamberlain as far as stats go..and its not because no 1 will ever be as talented as chamberlain its that there playing in a different era and the game is much different..imo kareem abdul jabbar was better than wilt but he could never put up 50ppg..he probably would have in the eary 60's but the talent level in the nba rose sharply in the 70's and continued to do so each decade..the talent pool right now in the nba is as deep as its ever been!
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 wilt dominated his era like no other..but hypothetically speaking in his era i beleive there are a number of players who could have done just as well..there is no answer to this there for its a matter of opinion! its hard for me to imagine olajuwon widley reguarded as the best post player in nba history woudnt do just as well in the 60's as wilt chamberlain did..do i beleive wilt was more dominant in his era? YES..do i think he was a better player than hakeem or kareem for that matter NO
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish you're wrong. Wilt was the most athletic player in NBA history. You don't sound like you know much about him. I'd read a new article about him that debunks the idea that any 7 fter wouldve had his #s at the time (he wasn't the only 7 fter btw). Again, there is no one who's remotely respected in bball that ranks Hakeem ahead of Wilt. No one. Does being the best post player mean havign teh most moves or getting the most points? No one serious is making that argument.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 lol man i've heard it all...iv'e heard about his 50 inch vertical, his 550lb bench press him sleeping with 20,000 women..theres no way in hell he has a 50 inch vertical..maybe earlier in his career he may have been a legit 40 though he cleared a 6'6 bar and that means he had to get atleast 40 inches off the ground to do so
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@Sage80 what ppl dont seem to understand is that athleticism is useless if you dont know how to fully apply it to your perspective sport...barry sanders the greatest RB ever wasnt the fastest running back in the 40 yard dash but his footwork was the best of any running back in nfl history bar none! lol wilt chamberlains foot work is horrible there is no way he could have maximized his athletic ability with the footwork and ball skills he possesed if youve ever played basketball you know this
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish just stop talking, because you sound like a complete retard. Chamberlain was an atheltic freak in track & field, in addition to volleyball & basketball. You have NO idea what you're talking about. You're just making up facts to try and prove your useless point. Ask Bill Russell if Wilt was lacking in footwork. Right...50 points a game is a strong sign of terrible footwork. Hakeem couldnt dream of filling wilt's shoes. And if you ask him, he'll tell you the same.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 your right..its pretty useless talking to you..wilt has his cock buried so deep in your ass you cant even see straight! lol wilt is the god of all sports according to you no 1 has been or never will be as talented thats your opinion man you wont rub that bullshit off on me have a good day
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish If he does, then he has his cock buried deep in 100% of basketball experts as well, who ALWAYS rank him #2 behind MJ. Whereas you're butthurt for Hakeem in a way that no one else outside of Houston could ever be.
Sage80 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish wilt was the most dominant player in nba history. u can only compare players to others in the same era, as environments and lifestyles change. if hakeem was born in the 40's im sure hed be a diff player than he was. therefore u sir, r an idiot
weiyuho 5 days ago
@weiyuho im very aware that sports evolve with time..improvements in lifestyle, dietary supplements etc have a great impact on improving ahleticism and that players like hakeem olajuwon, shaq etc had a big edge over guys who played in the 50's and 60's...the only thing is I DO acknowledge this there for if your going to ask me who was a better player im going to tell the truth..ppl think that wilt from the 60's could score 75ppg in the 90's and i tell them there on crack it would never happen
youz1uglybish 5 days ago
@youz1uglybish
Not total proof but still somewhat fair reasoning.
jaranarm 21 hours ago
@weiyuho your argument works both ways sir...you cant assume wilt would do the same shit in modern day basketball and then dis miss some one elses argument that hakeem could have put up the same numbers in wilts era! i think its very subjective in that reguard because all were talking about is speculation! smh ppl assume that wilt in modern times would have been about 7'6 and 365lbs but are quick to point out that modern day centers woudnt have been as skilled in the 60's or as athletic
youz1uglybish 5 days ago
@youz1uglybish Ask anybody that has seen wilt & hakeem play. Theyll tell you. Even on a bad knee and in his 30s, he completely dominated Kareem in the 72 playoffs. His numbers are so huge, that ppl take for granted & believe it MUST have been because of a lack of competition. That's pure ignorance. Go google 'NBA: Is Wilt Chamberlain the Most Undersold Superstar in NBA History?' Hakeem couldn't dominate Shaq, much less Wilt who was much better.
Sage80 1 week ago

Sage80 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Shaq grew up watching Hakeem. He idolized him. So it's no shock that he says that's his biggest influence. Still says wilt is the most dominant player of all time. You realize that no one who knows anything about the game ranks Hakeem ahead of Russell, Kareem, or Wilt...or even Shaq, right? You're in a dream world if you think otherwise. you can keep loling and lmaoing to try to hide from the fact that your argument is retarded.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 lol growing up i idolized charles barkley..but i'd never tell anyone he was better than michael jordan..reguardless of who you idolize there has to be some truth and reasoning behind picking a guy as the best to ever play the game! shaq said himself that if he was in wilt and bill russells era of basketball he'd be every bit as good as both of them..i tend to beleive that...along with hakeem, pat ewing etc
youz1uglybish 1 week ago
@youz1uglybish Shaq also thinks that Kazaam is a good movie. Him saying he's the best ever is not a persuasive argument. Wilt was averaging 20 rebounds a game in the 70s, in his 30s. You beileve it more because you want it to be so than on any kind of basketball study. Anyone who watched them all play in their prime knows what the answer is. You can't build a legacy on hypotheticals. The truth is Russell won 11 rings. Shaq won 4.
Sage80 1 week ago
@Sage80 wilt averaged 20 rebounds and 50 ppg in the land before time...that shit was done seemingly a 100 years ago..the game of basketball has changed drastically since he's done this..russell is no where near the games greatest player.i can atleast 7 players at his position that i would rather have on a team..what russell was is the greatest WINNER in nba history theres a big difference!
