@AngRuu I'm sorry I no longer have the world. You can actually see most of the redstone wire in this video though. If you're trying to build something similar by increasing the number of stacked pistons to push up more blocks this design becomes much more complicated in the circuitry.

@intXparts Oh darn. Yea I saw the bottom floor which I get, but what's the second floor like? I'm stumped by the timing because when you turn on the power, the bottom piston is supposed to push first, and then the top piston pushes second. But when you cut the power, top piston has to retract first before the bottom piston does. This is my second redstone project btw, so forgive me if the solution is extremely easy...(facepalm)

@AngRuu The top floor is very similar to the bottom floor. This is the sequence of blocks I used for the top:

[p] [t] [b] [rr] [r]

p = piston

t = torch on the side of the block b

rr = redstone repeater

r = redstone

If you do this in a row you essentially get my top row. As for the problem with lowering, you just need to put a delay on the bottom rows' signal using a redstone repeater or two while the top can retract.

I saw your vid and thought it was a really cool idea. I'm trying to build one similar but at the moment having no joy. I can get everything to open (both pistons lift up and the sand too but coming down all but one piston (2nd layer) stay up?

I built a test model and got that working fine but now trying it on a bigger scale it won't close??

Can you offer me any advice or help please.
