Can you tell me what's the name of the viewer you use? The ones I use don't show skeleton animated meshes, then can you tell me more accurately how do you managed to put the animations from multiple files in a single file?
guy's seriously WTF. a kid wants to learn to code and all you say is "learn to code" he is not a maggot, but a willing student.
so here's some tips.
1. you'll first wanna get a compiler. vc++ 9 is good.
2. you'll also wanna start to understand the concepts of c++ coding first, or coding in general, so just google c++tutorials to get you started.
3. you should also start simple and not launch into 3d games 3d games require alot of other skills other then programming such as modeling and texturing
@DinoAndCrew if a kid wants to code he has google though. In my time I didn't have the internet. I wanted to learn how to code so i went to the library and got books that i worked through. Later on i bought books. These people don't need help, they got the internet. If you can't even google that kind of information.. i don't think you should start coding. There are enough bad coders around as it is.
This is a "various" video. =p

@DinoAndCrew as he says, you should start to learn how to do 2D games first, then go into 3D after. I use Code::Blocks with MinGw as an IDE.

Can you elaborate on maya multiple file to one mesh + skeleton.
Best would be a post on ogre forums explaining that pipeline.
(command line samples, etc...)
