@suchykladno1983 Hey there, I believe there are a few books out there for slide guitar. Some of the good books will be written by Bob Brozman. I'm sure that you'll find something useful written by him!

I just spent about 3 weeks teaching myself all of this stuff in order to get good tone. I wish I had seen these videos when I started trying slide; it would have made it a lot easier!
I understand. A Riff is a small melody or a repeated chord or finger/slide progression. It's just the tune that is being used or worked on. Hope that helps. Cheers, Dan

Haven't watched this one yet. Question is, what is riff and can I play with just the slide. Just can't fret. Like your style.

Just want to slide. Fingers don't work too good trying to do fretting along with the slide. What is a riff? Thanks.
