the republic troopers were clones and they were cloned ten years before episode 2 so how are they way back in that time period???

I know but it also 2010. well, almost. I don`t buy that "it is an MMO" thing. We pay for the game. I want to see working, polished product for my money. I am so sad to see on AoC forum what they do to paying customer. They pay for the game and yet they still test it out for them, they have weekly report for bugs ect. Screw company that don`t communicate with their paying customers and exploiting paying customers to do their job.Oh, and 1st year event was a big LOL.

I realy hope SW will succeed.

I totally agree on the polish thing, it would be great to see mmos come out polished to max but I dont see that happening anytime soon. MMOs take alot of development but you never know, Star Wars could be the winner.

Warhammer was regarded as one of the most polished games at launch. While its endgame is rather lame at points they have been working on more content. Im not sure mmos will ever change.

Also I think sandbox-types of games takes a little less effort making cutting edge (oh well maybe not, I like huge worlds looking like porn, and for the record darkfall didn't seem to do it either)...

What do you mean? If you're talking about the population, it hasn't changed a lot since the release, it's only spread out more evenly on the different tiers. I've played since beta and I don't think WAR could've done much better than it did and is still doing. More than enough people, and the game world and gameplay are the best out of any MMO out there atm tbh.

That doesn't change the fact that it does exactly what it set out to do; give an immersive Warhammer pvp experience where you fight as a single footman of an army.

Maybe that's not your thing, but it doesn't make the game a failure. Especially since afaik it's the second most popular p2p MMORPG out there right now.

And one thing where Mythic have done an excellent job as well is server stability - I don't think there's been a single server crash since the launch.

WAR is not doing well population wise. It is shedding subscribers alarmingly. According to EA financial briefing data from back in February WAR is down to 50% of their peak population. And if you think that as it gets older it is gaining that subscriber base back... You just aren't thinking with your brain.

Really? I haven't even noticed any change in the playerbase :l In fact, just yesterday we had a fight of 155 vs 90-ish in open rvr on my server that lasted for hours.
