  • Why not put your hat down in the street. A good act in a good spot could get you $100-200 per hour, ive seen it done. :)

  • Thanks for that. Its good to hear your very interesting story. Maybe see you at the EJC.Good luck.

  • @fleviuss The quote in my video came from a woman whose partner committed suicide. I still to this day haven't met her in person. She saw a show I did in Washington. Something about my act made her feel uplifted. She wrote to tell me so, and her letter made me cry. I teach people, I perform *for people,* I make people laugh. My life/art is for the benefit of the community, even if I'm sometimes totally broke.

  • (cont.) I get a lot of responses like the one above. "You inspired me," "It was so healing to hoop with you." The short answer is "this isn't a holiday." It's a learning experience and an exchange. A lot of people who've given are students, audience members, people who have been on the *receiving* end of what I do. This vid was originally posted to *my* contacts. I'm grateful for it having been shared beyond that. But please also understand I originally made it for people I know. Blessings.

  • @fleviuss ...one individuals holiday to Europe? You ass. She spends time putting herself out and opening her heart to us like this, and putting this video up to try and achieve a dream she has, and your pompous ass wants to make a comment like that. You're a punk and should be ashamed of yourself. But you won't be because you are an ass.

  • HI Revolva, I am into crowd funding when its used for the benefit of a whole community rather than the individual. I know many artists in the developing world with no resources and no means to make any appeals like this one. Please explain your need to me as I think crowd funding should be used to facilitate community oriented projects rather than one individual's holiday to europe.

  • Revolva!!! That was hilarious and...inspiring! You NEED to go to the EJC. Seriously!! See you soon. xoxo

  • You should put your video up on Kickstarter. People there are already looking for ways to use their money for good.

  • Revolva I loved your class back a while at Hoop Camp, and I've been wanting to make a donation as a tip toward your generous spirit. Good luck to you, and oh here's an offer: May I donate something toward a "raffle" to help you out further?

  • @GenePoolChlorine Thanks a ton for the nice comment about Hoop Camp! And the good luck! And the offer of a raffle. At the moment, I don't have time to organize a raffle (mostly why I had to do an online fundraiser). But if I do expand this beyond the video, I'll let'cha know. I am so touched that people are helping me out -- even by sending messages with other helpful suggestions and ideas. I'm going to get to Europe and make y'all feel like helping Revolva was a good investment. :)

  • YOU ROCK REVOLVA! I'll help donate next pay check. you constantly inspire me AND crack me up!!!!! you are soo funny :)

  • @Groovinmegzz Aw, thanks, Megzz! You've been inspiring *me* with your FB photos of that personal trainer body. Da-yum, lady. Those are some abs! Hope I see you soon. I think I have a show in Portland on the 4th of July and then Oregon Country Fair (and then hopefully EJC)! But if you're around, let's hang out when I'm in your 'hood!

  • I am sending all kinds of awesome vibes that will allow you to win the lottery. Plasma TV and food are so overrated! Good luck on your journey to EJC! Not to put any pressure on this year, but Buddha reached enlightenment at age 35. Haha. ;) I'll have to figure that one out next year for myself too!

  • @ruvidan Yes, food is so overrated. I think on the West Coast, there are seriously people called "breath-a-tarians" who try to survive on inhaling and exhaling pure source. Or something like that. I have to meet those folks because that sounds spiritual ... and CHEAP! In the meantime, I thank you for your awesome vibes.

  • Thanks for the support! It's not easy to ask for help. But I've gotten lots of feedback this year from people who felt happy after seeing a show. So, I'm going to keep revolving, at a sometimes low financial return. The world needs that, too. And please know that the street show footage is from a reality where I wake up at 7 a.m. and go entertain people, even on my bday. I also work as a writer, and I'm saving up on MY end. To the person who "disliked" this video, the feeling is mutual.

  • See you there hun!!! You are going to LOVE the EJC. ; )

Thousands of people geeking out with props ALL DAY and the shows... OMG, the shows are absolutely stunning. It's an absolute blast.

  • @FireSandra Thank you!!!! I can't wait to see you there. I wrote you an email. Big squeeze.

  • i send good wishes.... best of luck on your fundraising!

  • @mkola59 Thanks a ton! I hope to be Revolving in Europe in August. Your wishes are well received. xxoo
