I love this song. i use to not know what it was about but now i think i do. A Wife/GF leaves dude, dude moves to some place in western asia (by the banks of the mighty Bosphorus, seedy karaoke bar, wooden boat in the shipping lanes) and tries to convince himself that he'll be ok (wheels keep on spinning round) but eventually he just goes crazy and asks why she left him (all those voices at the end, Why you say you no in love with me?) But idk for sure. John McCrea works in mysterious ways :)
