She needs to keep in mind that it is very rare for the same party to win The White House after more than 8 years, and she should be greatful that her party did just that 20 years earlier in 1988 when (The Elder) Bush defeated Michael Dukakis. Also, the incident on the plane on Christmas still would have happened if she was vice president, and McCain was president.

I'm with you on the term limits. But I just have a hard time believing the Tea Party movement is equally anti-GOP as they claim, when half of the people leading the movement are active members of the GOP.

If they want to be anti-moderate GOP while embracing other parts of the GOP that's fine, but they should clarify their position.

I suppose you are right ... Alot of the movement are probably just like me. I was never a member of the Republican party until I got fed up listening to whiners bash Bush. I signed up and voted GOP in 2008 because it was the only viable alternative to Obama. You could try making an aliance (of some sort) with the LIbertarian party, since, while I may disagree with a lot of their philosophy, at least their hands are clean. That's a lot more than I can say for the GOP. If the Tea Party movement only succeeds in throwing the same GOP crooks back into office (Boehner, Cantor, Dick Armey etc.) I don't think they'll be living up to their ideals. But that's exactly what the GOP is using their energy for.

In fact, there are a lot of third parties around that could possibly form an aliance with the Tea Party movement and, combined, win enough votes to win a congressional seat or two in specific districts. I think that would send a better message than just helping the GOP get back into power again when the players in the party haven't changed.
