As with all similar sports, volleyball/tennis/etc... It doesn't matter how you get the point as long as you get it. You have to play smart. In all honesty, I rather watch Peter Gade play than have to watch those smart players. Being smart will get you the win but anyone who wants to win will play the same, regardless of the sport. I rather watch a deceptive player than a player who just wants to win. Don't get me wrong, everyone wants to win, but as a fan, I rather be fooled than bored.
