  • Uncle Tom Nazi!

  • ha... obama is a shady ass fraud.... love all the blind robots in here saying hes some god...how sad.... really?

  • You don't need a God because I'm here now!!!

  • WOW! This guy has a spirit about him that is just so real and awesome that I can't even explain it.

  • Oh, by the way, do you know where Obama signed his name? Which restaurant was that? I should probably know :P

  • He signed his name upstairs at Nick's English Hut on Kirkwood.

  • OMG He was walking down Kirkwood past VD (Village Deli)!!! Wow... So weird seeing Obama in the place I see every day, huh?

  • This is the kind of excitement that you want to inspire in people!!!

  • Ain't that the truth!

  • This is a President we can love!

  • This was a lot of fun. I can't recall this much enthusiasm among people since RFK in 1968. I'm happy to have been able to have been a part of it.

  • God bless America! I'm ready to get my country back after many many years in the wilderness.

  • great I love the rhythm.

  • Believe it or not, this song is THE HOOTERS from Philly. This was their first single here in Philly. I can't believe they used this song in the Obama photage. Glad you like it. They were a great party band to see live :) Take care - let 's hope for the best in this election.

  • Yeah? I'm from Philly. I grew up listening to them on 'MMR. I made this video - not the Hooters. I live in Indiana now and Barack Obama came to my town. This is video of him here - I just added the music. I'm hoping for the best too. And, after quite alot of thought, I'm voting for the most qualified candidate. Just 13 days left until President-elect Obama!

  • Thanks for the comment by the way - I never thought anyone actually would see anything I put up here. Go Phillies '08!

  • this is the time, when everybody wishes to be an american..wow i´m so happy for the americans..finnly you have got ur soul back!!

obama is inspiring the hole world!!!

    germany loves obamaland!!!!god bless obama!!!!

  • I'm jealous I wasn't there. I hope people vote with their brains, and don't believe this gas tax holiday gimmick... which will actually hurt Americans.

  • I love itttttttttttt!

  • Getting to see or meet Senator Obama is a real treat. The guy is just likable, because he is honest and real!!

  • England for bama!

    Wohoo!!

  • Nicely edited video.I like the dynamic of the ska.Good luck for today in PA. and for Indiana.

    Germany is with you.

  • BEST LITTLE 500 EVER!!!

  • Thanks Jim,

I hope you didn't mind me using your very cool WFHB footage as part of my video. I appreciate you putting yours up there too. I was on Kirkwood to make a quick stop at Monroe Bank and left just about 5pm Friday. So, I just missed Obama. Could have kicked myself. Your footage put me back in the vibe.

    ~Scott

  • Absolutely inspiring...I like the music too:D

    5 stars

  • Scott,

Wonderful edit of materials at hand to catch the vibe of Friday's Obama drive-by in Btown. Very proud to see my "Barack Does Bloomington" footage put to instant use in cyberspace! Jim Manion aka ionriff

  • This is their version of The Skatalites' "Man In The Street," a live demo from the very first Hooters recording session in 1980, which was also the band's first song to be heard on the radio. I think it was first played by Pierre Robert, WMMR-FM 93.3. Pierre, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Barack Obama made a surprise visit to my town of Bloomington, Indiana on Friday, March 11th 2008. I added music by The Hooters, "Man In The Street" from their CD, Amore. They are an independent rock band from my home town of Philadelphia.
