Can you actually make a jump shot in this one unlike live 08 where 90% of mid-range and 3pt shots hit the rim and that's it? Contested or uncontested. I went to the edit player menu put the shot ability and likeliness all to 99 and it didn't even change.

yea live is way better it plays more like a real game although 2k is more fluid... 2k is more run and gun steal passes, on live you have to do a lot more setting up of plays and people think you can just cross over really easily its not as easy as you think the computer doesnt always fall for it. Nba 2k9 its a lot easier to just go baseline and dunk on three people i know because i do it. If live was just a bit more fluid and defense was a bit more improved 2k wouldnt have have shot they dontnow
