Asian Mom:That D needs to be sharp! Do it all over until you get it right or you will not get dinner!

  • ASIAN POWER!!!!!!!! =)

  • he is amazing! thumbs up!

  • beats my sweet home alabama, LOL!

  • Of course the Chinese kid can play it!

  • @surfdog13tn genuinely made me LOL ♥

  • wow nice job :P

  • what the f**k it's so f**king amazing you are so good for me it's a inpossibole song

  • very good, but i think he is spending tooo much time in front of the piano, a little more sports, and other stuff wouldn`t be bad for children in this age..

  • omg, very fabolous! very talented...

  • holy crap =/ jealous...... cant even play a song myself

  • omg! he's very good

  • what is amazing is how its possible to remember what to hit of all those things hehehe

  • o my fuck that insane! no matter what age that would be amazing to play! but at 8 years old holy fuck!

  • he is not 8.. dont lie

  • That is great!

  • omg! what an amazing kid!

  • Holy shit Lawrence freaking amazing!!!!

  • oh my God beautiful ;)

  • o.o...i think he's much better than enzo... his pieces make me feel relax more than enzo's.

  • i like how he is moving with the beat.

  • i am 8 you can even ask my sister...... well fine block me see if i care!!! well my sister might care but not me. NONONONONONONNONO

  • there are many child geniuses who are under eight and can count. you're just jealous.

  • sure an 8yr old can count, but we both know their limits.

  • youre so lucky to have a grand piano at 8 yrs old

i think your family know how to play the piano

  • he isn't as good as enzo, check enzo out he's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think quite amazing

  • very very good

  • LAWRENCE PRIDE :)

  • ton tont ton tooon

  • Excellent! You have outstanding potential; work on tempo and phrasing! :)

  • very good...

    from greece

  • so schnell, wie seine finger sind kann ich überhaupt nicht gucken..xD

  • haha find it quite funny how people make negative comments....but look at the video closely....he's playing without any sheets or books; the whole piece is played from memory. I think that's outstanding for an 8yr old!

  • Comment removed

  • muy bueno profigio!!!!!asi todos los niños del mundo deben tocar musica....namastei elisa argentina

  • beautiful. God bless!!!!

  • he's fucking 8! i can sure as hell bet that u didnt play that well at 8. especially taking into account all of the other advanced piecese he can play. he did great and he will only get better in time.

  • stfu kensin hes only 8yo btw I PWN YO ASS

  • you loook like david tam

  • it is too fast and the beginning a bit messy

  • 5*'s from me. The only suggestion I have is to try and do more with the left hand phrasing to make it more interesting dynamically. A teacher once told us to always remember that the cellos of the orchestra want to do something fun once in a while too. Excellent.

  • THE ASIAN MOZART

  • brilliant!

  • Great job, little guy.

  • omg he knows even more songs than me lol. who teaches him?!

  • that was brill, I did notis 1 dodgey note, but wooooooooow!

  • awesome job lil guy

  • super

  • His face in 1:38 looks funny...

by the way his performance amused me great with this piece...

    Great JoB!!!

  • Bravooo

  • hahahahahahahahhahahahaha!! thats funny! what a talented kid but hes such a nerd! soooo good and cute thoughh...be proud

  • The speed contral is really messy, and you're just remembering the notes, the song you had played had been denatured.

  • that is soooo good for his age

    keep it up!

  • that piano is so out of tune

  • unreall im speechless

  • O.O

That's just incredible..kiddo, never stop playing piano!

  • very impressive for the age but he does kind of bang it out, especially the left hand

  • o my gawd! this is awsome!

  • crazy how people can play like this at such young ages.

  • lol how put this vid on youtube, not him at the age of 8years old. i think some very prouwd parents

  • very impressive even at that age.

  • I think that he is very talented no matter what his age is, you have to give him credit for his skill.

  • impréssionant!

  • He seemed into it, no one plays this kinda music with a giant smile on their face. This kid was in the zone. He was swaying quite a bit, so it seemed he felt something for the song. I was forced into piano at a really young age, but I found it boring so I just stopped practicing and pissed off my teacher to the point she refused to teach me anymore. If this kid reallly didn't like it he'll just stop doing it eventually.

  • I M P R E S I V !!!!

    So nice

  • well yes it does seem depressing and the fact that his parents pressured him is only a possibility he could have wanted to play the piano and his parents could have had someone paid to give him lessons or the parents did it themselves that is also a very likely possibility

  • This is depressing. Not just that Lawrence is probably pressured by his parents to play piano, but the ignorance of that fact by the comments. Parents really shouldn't live their dreams through pressuring their children. Because the only way for Lawrence to get love is to play piano, he is probably very competitive with his peers. The ignorance to this fact is, for lack of a much milder word, appalling. I am not insulting Youtube users intelligence, nor am I typing this in spite-

  • i disagree. my parents tell me stories of me bagging my parents for piano lessens when i was 2. i was the one pressuring them lol. so that isn't always the case.

  • -{cont} as this youtube generation is a bright and witty one, and I would rather be mediocre at the piano than be pressured to succeed in it. Please read this comment through and think before giving it negative responses. I am open to CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM! This means, please don't mindlessly flame me. Who knows? I could be wrong. Show me why. PM me...

  • Might be Mozart Finger Gene or he might have been listening to Beethoven, Mozart and such when he was still in his womb. xD

I remember seeing this commercial where a mother had earphones on her belly playing Symphony 9.

  • This guy is amazing!

Man, I wanna play like him and that other young pianist; Enzo but my parents push me more on my grades rather than my musical hobbies.

  • It's the same way. I want to practise my music more than other studies. My parents think of it as me fooling around. Music is an art form.

  • oh my god this kids understanding of piano technique is intense wow

  • THIS has inspired me to make my kids learn piano... when I have kids

  • FENOMENO

  • two words... pushy parents, gotta ask yourself if he can play that good at that age, what else is he missing out on?

  • o shut up mabey he wanted to play piano like me!!! >=(

  • i agree. no one can play this at this age. I believe that if you are going to push your kids push them on things they will need later on in life, like SCHOOL comes to mind.

  • well students who are in the arts do better on testings

  • not pushy: motivating. My mom MOTIVATED me to learn piano, and had me take lessons since I was 4. By the time I was 10, I could play Mozart's Alla Turca. I am SO GLAD she encouraged me to learn music. She motivated me in school, always demanding me to live up to my potential. THANKS MOM! It is too easy to let a kid be couch potato nowadays. the discipline and relaxation I found in piano has helped me all my life.

  • 2 words... Child Prodigy!

    man this kid ownes

  • that was rude of mvil hes graet @ piano but his playing is a bit mechanical. this is just my opinion, this kid is a great pianist though.

  • awesome ;]

  • holy potatoes!!!!!!

    this kid rox!!!!

i wish i were that good

  • man!!! this kid has a really good skills, he will be (or he is already) a great musician, thanks for posting this quality videos

  • Oh talented...

  • whoa i worship him!!! xP!! soo awesome!!

  • wow! i'm incredibly jealous! i'm sixteen years old and struggling with my grade 4! :)

  • he's decent

  • yo so sick its like your shit is dying...how u do that,,great job

  • i dont have words

  • maybe your just jealous? sometimes good things don't have to be punishment....

    mvwil...

  • listen if people ant seak theyre opinions on videos then whats the point of comenting?

  • im so jealous of asians .... youre so good at everything

  • you are very good!!!! well done

  • Its not that hard for a child because they learn incredible fast. If you send your 7 years old child to china for 2 years it will be able to speak chinese fluently afterwards.

  • yeah, that's true :D

  • Dude... your a jackass. And an idiot. Not all people are forced to play things that they're amazingly good at. This kid might love music. So shut the hell up. Bitch...

  • I got to agree with you! mvwil is just jealous.

  • i agree with mvwil

does he look like hes enjoyin himself?

i can imagine his parents draggin him back to the piano crying everytime he wanted to go outside and play like all the other 8 year olds....

  • That was AMAZAZING!!!!!!!!!! you rock, keep up the piano:P

  • xD I played this in a competition once. And I completely FAILED in it. I think I was... 12 at that time. This kid makes a not bad job out of this piece. Well done~

  • He's very talented!!

    Good use of his fingers

    Very nice

  • asta la camisa es amarrilla jajaja

pero toca suave, esta rola no me acuerdo aversela escuchado al Mozart

  • kind of wunderkind

  • talented!!

  • wow you're very good but we need cash! hehehe...

  • i really feel stupid when i see this

  • B R A V O !!!!

  • wow..my pinky doesnt curl either...i thought i was weird...is it universal?

  • Really good regarding the age, although I detected a fair amount of imperfections.. Keep up the good work

  • well done from greece!!!

  • oh shit now i feel really stupid.

  • Fair playing but not bad for a kid of 8

  • wow! tht kid is awesome, males me feel crap!

  • nice watch my version too=) i wish i could play as well as you but i jus started learning this song..=p

  • that was absolutely prefect! Oh my gosh that was crazy good! I'm no where near as good as you....

    T T

  • GREATT!!!!!

  • Lawrence,

This piece is too difficult for you both technically and musically. Who gave the piece?

  • chino nbastardo, de cuando tocas, apuesto que tu no pediste tocar, te lo pasaron tus padres, 0 expresion, te estan explotando!!!

  • is this turkish march?

  • 415741 - no, this is Sonata no. 10 KV330.

  • oh my gosh this kid is freaking amazing.

  • Amazing.. an 8 year old playing this so well. It makes me feel a little stupid.

  • Sweet kid and 9the of february with a christmas tree!

  • watch those fingers fly like mad in a good way lol

  • nice dog you were great!

  • this kid should be on lvl 5 or 6!!!!!

  • with 7 years old I learn that music by myself

  • How long it took you to practice this piece before you performed in the recital? I am just very curious. Is your piano teacher Chinese?

  • I learnt this piece half years ago. It took me a couple of weeks to intensely practice this piece before my recital.

  • sorry forgot its channel 5 about 8 or 9:00 o'clock

  • WOW Actually anyone from england there will be a program on (monday 9th july 2007) how good the brain is

and there is someone playing like lawrence !!

  • Das ist sehr sehr gut.

    You are gut boy.

    Wunderschon !

    Wolfgang Amadeus

  • Impressive.

  • wowowowowow love it

  • =) lolz, thats the problme, i learned it when i was 6, i'm practically an adult now and i stopped playing at 10!

  • impressive, but i learned this when i was 6.=) great though

  • well then make a vid and show us, we are all dying to see it:D

  • Thoroughly impressed. I have sent you a private message - please check your messages.

  • awesome

  • Yeh wat he sais :|

  • I am throughly impressed.

  • You're 8 years old ?

It would take me 8 years just to learn the first few bars !

Millions of people wish they could play like you.

    Fantastic.

    Mike from Liverpool

  • When the Guildhall used to do grade 7 higher and lower I did this for grade 7 higher. I've let my chops go stiff since :(

  • Wonderful!!! This is an 8th grade piece according to the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (British) Wow..

  • omg...........so pro nice!

  • dude. holy.. this is amazing

  • Hey I learned that at 7, great job. I didn't do as much head swaying though..but anyway BRAVO!

  • The trills....

    But otherwise, good job.

  • Very, very good, Lawrence.

    enzo / blueyoyi

  • Very Very good !! Keep on playing =D

  • omg >< i played this for my grade 8 piece this is jokes lmao....he's 10 years younger than me as well ¬¬

  • Too many boring oriental kids on this youtube. They all sound the same and have no emotion.

  • Maxi937: Admit it. You are just so jealous aren't you ?? I bet you don't even play the piano. Give this 8 years old kid a break.

  • Have you not noticed that there are a lot of talented oriental piano players on youtube? And they usually play SIMILAR DIFFICULT pieces that's why they sound the same. Why don't you post yourself playing piano? Just make sure you play a lot better than those people who you call "oriental" so you don't eat your words!

  • lmao, totally agree

  • Nice job! For 8 this is very amazing! The only things I can think of are tempo being more controlled, clearity on trills, and dynamics.

    Great job, you're truly blessed.

  • Excellent job Lawrence, hope my son will play like you in 7 years!!!

  • woah you're good and you're only 8.. i played that when I was 14.. T.T *bowing head in shame*

  • Very nice! I love it! Makea, 8 years old

  • Very nice, Lawrence!

  • I am 16 and I just started taking lessons like a month ago... Yeah...

    This is sweet.

  • wow you play the song that my mom (who is a piano teacher) used to play when she was ten. but yu played it 2 years earlier... nice jawb kid. keep it up

  • that could be because of the age.he can absolutley improve his performance, he is obviously talented!

  • great but tempo is a little off

  • Thanks for your valuable comment. I know it's a little bit too fast.

  • what do you mean the tempo is "off"? it's perfect in my opinion

  • all the asians play good the piano, it's generically confirmed.

  • it's also because they have a lot of discipline, which is not very common at these times

  • i think u shud play mariage d amour by richard clayderman n angel's eyes by jim brickman!!!! those songs r sweet!!! tell me when uve done it n post it up here for us to c yah!! u rawk little dude!!

  • EXCELLENT !

  • when you grow up all the girls will love you dude... keep it up

  • awesome
