ok im 15 turning 16 and want to become a pilot but i have no experience of controlling any aircraft , im am doing well passing all my subjects from A*- C and i want to learn how to fly and i would like to know what qualifications need , please someone help !
@2manreds i've done all those and i'm now training to become a pilot payed for by TAG aviation from a scholarship i was awarded... i'm now learning in a Robin HR200 and have flown a piper warrior, pretty awesome... just go for absolutely every opportunity you see lol i did and i've been awarded with quite a prestigious scholarship! and i'm guessing you're UK like me?
you don't need a physical until your 16. i started when i was 15. got about 20 hours of flying. havnt solo yet because of the airport started construction and 2 runways are closed of of 3 the main one. and cant solo cause of big planes.
im only 14 butt i have gone solo on a piper cub and i have well over 50 times in a piper cup not solo and i have flown many aircraft's and landet butt not solo . so its not that hard i would give it a try if your not a pilot
Even if you pass the written exam with a 100%, the instructor will not pass you on the oral or maneuvers. If you lose a couple feet on a maneuver or miss one question on the oral, the instructor will not sign off, he will have you read or practice more to get more money from you for the lessons or plane rental. It's a ripoff. And if you want to be an airline pilot, I suggest you check the salaries for regional carriers, because that's where you'll be.

Well first of all finish High School. After get a college degree, and get the PPL(Private Pilot Course). After that you must get night ratings and multi-engine ratings. You can also make some hour buidings. After that you can get the courses nedeed for being a transport pilot. But for further information contackt any flying school as I did. By the way I am 13 years old too.
Well, a lot of study makes pilots ;). But I would bet that you heard about Microsoft's Flight Simulator software. It's a really realistic software, which allows you to fly any kind of plane, joust like in real world. Also at Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Geometry and at English at least you must have G grade. With lower you cant get in so look out. I had also contackted I flight school called Phoenix East Aviation in Florida. If you have any other questions, ask ;)
yea, just like dynamites08 said. If u want to become a commercial pilot for a major airline, you can either (A). Go to your local flight school and build up hours, then go to a college and get at least a bachelors in anything basicly, i would prefer something like meterology or something that deals with planes. OR (B) Go to college and get at least a 4 year college degree, apply for the airforces officer program, and you'll get flight training for free.! O and im 15. You should get flight sim.

The FAA? Yeah they say 10 hours of solo and 40 hours total are required to take a Private Pilot Practical Test.
