@elvenmage271 Dig in a high position and don't move just let them get to you and than just let your mand shoot, if you have cavalary when the enemy reahces you just go from the sides and destroy it's cannons back home and then encircele and destroy him.

@elvenmage271 Put your canons at the position where they break through and use canister shot and let the fun begin.

Also try to attack the basterds from behin with your cav. It's a pretty good method to rape morale.

And then just make sure you have your infantry stacked up at the place where they go over the walls or break through. Bayonets are pretty handy when they go over the walls and when they do get of the walls make sure you greet them with a volley.
