I hate addictions. It is the devil in desguise destroying so many people's lives. Dionne,Aretha,Ciccy,and her Family tried everything legally in their power to help her like Charlie Sheen's Family has. You can say and do everything to try helping them and to stop them but they will keep telling you to get the fuck away from me. They (The addict) will keep telling you "I will choose to keep taking what I want to take. It is none of your business what I do with my life"
It seems like the way it goes is if you're great your whole life but make one mistake at the end you're only remembered for the mistake. Forget all the great stuff you've done all of your life. All of the sacrifices you do of yourself to help others just goes down the drain.

Surprise birthday party given to her by her co-workers. Her husband was working on afternoon evening shift. She was on powerful pain killer prescription drugs. Got caught up heavy drinking celebrating on her party. Fell asleep and she never woke up again. Our family got the call the next morning on her death.
I cannot think of all Music in 1986 without thinking about Whitney Houston. Even If she only made that one Album in her entire career All Her Greatest Hits could be compiled from that one Album titled Whitney Houston. To me personally of all the Female Singers who made breakthroughs in the 1980s she was bigger than Madonna. In the mid 1980s she was my favorite new Female singer to come out since the late 1960s and early 1970s days of Roberta Flack,Karen Carpenter,and Janis Joplin.
