marlowe u came to Greece, my town and u didn't say anything! U're an inspiration and your vids are more than helpfull! they give me reason to play more! next time say something! keep up the good work!
have some nice souvlaki and stuff, and I especially recommend fava and real nice saganaki !!! Avoid the retsina otherwise you'll lose the groove - haha !!!
nice man..real cool spot. So are ya doing any local shows to show off your skills. Also do you have musician friends there? Maybe put up some pics form the local scene?sorry for all the questions..just very interested in the area..way cool people there. Dennis
@DALOM , ok cool thanks, since i have only been using index i will just keep doing the same, hey if its good enough for a MASTER like MARLOWE then its fine for me, thank you kindly for the reply.
Cool, hey MARLOWE are you performing in concert with a band or something, or is it just vacation? and i have a question, when i am plucking the G string should i be using my middle finger? and for the D string my index finger? I have been using my index all along and now feel i have to retrain myself, let me know what is better, thanks in advance, enjoy GREECE, there are beautiful Woman there.
@MARKLINMAN1 let me try to help you too ... those are two different ways of the same technique ... some use index all the time, like marlowe, and have their thumbs kinda upwards
then theres for example flea, he is using only middle and/or ringfinger and has the thumb in a parallel way to the string... check out some videos, maybe it helps
Did you check out one of the greatest fusionjazzfunk bands in thessaloniki called "hard groove"? They play in STOA bar every sunday!if you stay for another week, check 'em out. Jammin is a certain thing to happen!
