Bomberman's single player can be just as fun, too. The only problem is that it doesn't appeal to everyone.

By the way, Bomberman did not become such a multiplayer-focused game until the release of Bomberman 2.

I'm afraid to play the online mode since I heard that disconnecting from a match costs you 1000 Wii points and I wonder if when it disconects on it's own then I'm wondering if that means it costs you 1000 Wii points when it does that as well. Then again I read that in an IGN review, uh can somebody clear this up for Me but anyways I would like to know if I need to fear getting online at all.

@Thenumber1yoshi Why in the hell would disconnecting cost money? It's a complete lie. You lose 1000 IN-GAME points for disconnecting.

@GigaCaptainOlimar But I think it only takes points away if you do it on purpose, because my shitty SBC broadband internet disconnects like there is no tomorrow and my score doesn't change at all. Interestingly, even though I got broadband, online game play is still as shaky as it was years ago when I had dial-up. At least videos load up quickly... 5-6 days a week.

I think the only thing I was disappointed about with this game was that there was no story/single player mode, all you do is battle.

And you have do a battle against stupid comps several times to unlock the use of Mii characters. Good thing I can go online, otherwise this game would not be fun.
