  • Healthy? You should eat it more often

  • Hey Nicko, at first, sorry for my imperfect english, i'm german. :)

I just came here to give you a feedback.

We had the pork a few minutes ago and it was sooo delicious! I couldn't get fresh spinach so i choose to make more beans. It fits also.

    I guess i have a new favourite recipe. ;D

  • Looks delicious Nicko! The pork looks perfectly cooked, slightly pink and seared on the outside! Just Awesome!

  • this is a great receipe. I love seeing u make things that r nutritious and tasty, and u did it so well, taking off the fat from the pork and using a little olive oil spray on a non stick skillet. steaming veggies, great modest portion....just great!

  • honestly i dont your very good at making healthy foods look apetzing, at lest from my perspective but don't knock it till you try it

  • nice look. looks delish also.

  • Pork is haram

  • Adorable hands!

  • This looks DELICIOUS ! What a fun and fresh way to kick off your "new" show. Thanks a bunch!!

  • I'm not a huge fan of pork, but I would happily try this dish. It looks fresh and delicious!

  • I know a woman who lived until 90+ who ate fatty pork EVERYDAY. Ironically, she passed on because she fell down a flight of stairs.

  • for those who believe that pork isn't healthy while dieting google the below

  • Great to see you back with a fantastic new dish!

  • pretty good. my bf needs to make the ultimate decision since I never cook for just myself, but.... good nonetheless

  • Actually, you can incorporate 'Healthy Meals' into all your usual Meals... It would make it more interesting & challenging, though that's just my opinion. Lol. Imagine healthy fast food! :D

Anyway, superb recipe, I added berries with the apples & they turned out heavenly! Thanks a lot! ♥

  • It looks great and healthy too...but you should go to the gym or go swimming :)

    Thanks for the recipe~)))

  • Im on a diet here but I'll might try make this. sounds yummy!

  • yum yum yum, awesome dish!

  • I think if people did their research they would find that pork is now a healthy meat. Apparently an analysis by the U.S. Department of Agriculture showed that a 3-ounce piece of pork tenderloin had 2.98 grams of fat while a 3-ounce skinless chicken breast contained 3.03 grams of fat. This has been because of the last 25 or so years there has been a concerted move towards developing lean pigs by careful breeding.

  • are you insine!!! do you wanna kill us! pork!!! that will make us die as sure

  • This is why I could never be Jewish.

  • dude niko, i saw your video on how to make french fries and i am seeing this one. you fuckin doubled in size. do you eat all the food you cook? forget youtube and get some exercise dude. get your fat ass away from the fucking kitchen and the computer. at least when you are at home.

  • @doom3lv He's trying to lose weight but nothing has work. He tried diets, meal replacement etc etc. He might be thinking of having surgery.

  • @Blueball0120 No surgery for loosing weight!!! My friend also did surgery on loosing weight and it didn't work, cause she got fat again and this time the body absorbe the fat faster than before, now she weight twice the weight before having the surgery.

  • I hate apple pork! I just came to this video to say this, what an asshole i am

I like all Niko's vids and i try them out myself and they all taste like a piece of heaven.

  • @Wehedo whats your problem?

  • I can smell your dish from here. I never thought pan-fried pork goes with apples. I'm gonna make this dish sometime. Hmm.... Do you have any other recipes that kind of marries that flavors of meat and fruit?

  • That pork looks soooo good! :)

  • awesome presentation, great job nicko!

  • I have cooked pork tenderloin a few dozen times in life and have yet to screw it up!....My favourite cut of meat for shear dependability!

  • You should take the meat of the pan and let it rest on an plate or so. if the meat is still on the hot pan it will still cook.

  • I am so happy that u started cooking healthy food! You should cook it more than just one month. Greetings from Europe:)

  • I'm very impressed Nicko!

  • looks great Nicko NOM NOM NOM! :)

  • i'm glad you upload some healthy recipes....waiting for more and more :))

  • Pork is a nutritious choice of meat. By choosing chops or loin cuts, you can have a delicious, moist entrees that are low in fat. It contains high levels of some essential B vitamins like B6, B12, niacin, thiamine, and riboflavin. In addition to the B vitamins, pork also contains high amounts of other nutrients, providing you with iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. A three ounce portion of pork provides nearly half of the daily requirements for protein.

  • Last year only 7% of all food borne illness cases reported were related to pork. The Center for Disease Control reported that between 1997 and 2001 there was an average of only 12 cases of trichinosis per year reported. Recommended cooking temp is 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Other sources have said that temperatures of 140 to 150 degrees are sufficient. It has also been found that freezing pork cuts of 6-inches or less for 20 days at 5 degrees or less will also kill trichinella.

  • OMG! I'm so gonna try this but with beef. I can't eat pork. And Nicko, THESE TYPE HEALTHY DISHES ROCK!!!

  • Nicko!!! Can you make a vegetarian dish? Please :)

  • YUMMY !!!

  • Looks great Nicko! I'll pull the porkloin out of the freezer give it a defrost and give this one a go for sure.. Hope you enjoyed your time off.. Great to see you back in action.. 5 *'s as always!

  • Gordon Ramsay can suck Nicko's dick

  • Yay healthy stuff :D

  • omg he's back in action :D

  • SO DARN DELICIOUS!! WE NEED MORE HEALTHY DISHES LIKE THESE NICKO!! :D

  • Got to get the mop and bucket again.........Clayton droooooled all over the floor!

  • Looks delightful Nicko.

  • MMM! Yum

  • PORK CHOP!

  • Congratulations to Nicko on his efforts to present some healthy alternatives! You are an inspiration mate and you should be applauded :)

And to those people who keep saying the pork is unhealthy - try rewatching the video. Nicko clearly states that he has trimmed off the excess fat from the fillet. Seriously, some people just don't pay attention.

  • People have different meanings when they say 'healthy'. I think with the pork, for people who are on a diet they would choose to eat other meat that is less fat. But for other people who want to eat 'healthy' it could simply mean not deep fried, sugary, etc. I found this recipe very healthy for someone who isn't trying to lose weight.

  • @t07061988 Pork is just as healthy as beef or any other similar meat. And pork is not fat. You can get pork meat thats completely clean of fat.

  • Woo your back! :)

  • whoever says pork is not healthy learn learn your fucking facts. If pork is not healthy wtf do you eat each day? Chicken breast and one lettuce leaf? Or is chicken not healthy. Fucking health freaks.

  • it's pork, can't be too healthy xD

  • who are the 4 haters!

  • @teku11151 The 4 haters probably don't eat pork for their religious reasons and think anyone promoting consumption of pig meat must be evil. Also, you can't be famous without having haters.

  • @ghijsch umm almost,,,if ya compare this food with the others,,,,YES its healthy

  • don't you hate it what your taking a shit and the water splashes up and hits you!

  • Fuck, missed 3 of your previous vids. Gonna watch em after this one.

  • @ghijsch No,is not

  • Thumbs up if you check his channel every day to see whether there is a new video

  • I knew I'd see somebody make a comment about whether the pork is cooked or not because it's slightly pink. YES IT IS. It doesn't have to be gray or dry or gross to be cooked. If you have any doubt about whether the pork here is cooked, go look at Chef John's recent pork videos on Foodwishes, he'll tell you the EXACT SAME THING in every single one of them. Pork is not the same as chicken, it can be a little pink and still be perfectly cooked. You're looking for internal temperature, not color.

  • Looks pretty good. I like the addition of the mustard.

  • is the pork cooked?

  • There is no fat, sugar but THERE IS A PORK!!!! NOT healty:(

  • @LegoBrick06 Pork is not unhealthy, it just depends on how you cook it. Unless you're one of those people that think the only healthy way of eating is vegan or some bullshit.

  • @MyassWins Hey watch your mouth, think first!! Pig eat worm, and other that nasty,LIKE YOUR FACE!

  • @LegoBrick06 Many societies eat worms as well.

You should do a little reading about what humans actually eat.

  • @LegoBrick06 The only way pork is bad is if it's inside breading, deep-fried and doused in sugary sauce. Pork is lean and a very healthy meat.

Please don't make completely incorrect statements, it just makes you look like an idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @prettyinpunk666 Cow is the very healthy meat. I.D.I.O.T

  • @LegoBrick06 Uhh not if you're on a diet moron, most diets will tell you to stay AWAY from red meat, and instead eat lean meats like fish and chicken and some pork.

Learn to use google, seriously. You just make yourself look like a douche.

  • @prettyinpunk666 Well, the experts and 15m euro study says otherwise :)

    businessweek (add a dot )com/lifestyle/content/healthday/646536.html

  • Nickos back!

  • YUM!, i am so hungry now... and i just ate :)

  • loooks amazing :)

  • i dont like pork what to do?

  • @Mrfreakyit try chicken instead it should be lovely!

  • @Mrfreakyit ose beef or a white fish instead :)

  • This isnt healthy at all , apples lose 95% of their vitamin content when cooked , similarly frying isnt healthy. The pork was nicely fat reduced and looked quite yummy. In summary the meal looked brilliant , and i will surely try it, however one can surmise the meal was clearly not "healthy" , brilliant work once again though.

  • @laterzp1g the meal was clearly healthy. spinich, beans, the leanest cut of pork with the fat trimmed and apples with mustard and chicken stock. you dont know what you're talking about at all

  • Nice mate, welcome back... that Australian mustard is my favourite mustard, really good stuff

  • Would be really nice with some vegetarian or fish receipes sometimes, too!

  • thank dude

  • Yo man dont want to seem mean but you have been gaining weight. Dont work still will watch all of your vids just watching out for u.

  • Apples have fructose, a naturally occurring sugar, so for new diabetics make sure you take them into account if you are going to make this meal.

  • Nice high protein meal, too bad I'm a vegetarian though. =p

But yes, thats a very well balanced meal.

  • YES, YOU'RE BACK! :D

  • Food porn is back.......

  • ! Yum all up :o)

  • Can you change the pork too something else, such as chicken?

  • @JadeLiCat no you are not allowed the food thought police will arrest you

  • You are my favorite cook because all your recipes are easy..

    Sis..

  • nice snack , but were is the dinner ?

  • Also add the calorie count for us folks on that diet !

  • love the health stuff nicko.... please keep it up. I usually cook your stuff on cheat days !

  • thumbs up for the previous theme song

  • new intro is good

  • Strange, never heard of "Australian Mustard" before. So it's just equal parts mild English and grain mustard?

  • my god, ur fingers have gotten fatter... go on a diet nicko.

  • @gavin479 He is on a diet. Have you seen his blog videos?

  • @Blueball0120 well his diet is broken!!!! OLOLOOLOL

  • eye sex.......

  • Welcome back

  • WELCOME BACK!!!!!!

  • make one super vegetarian burger

  • welcome back!!

  • Could you forgo the oil at all? If the pork is a little fatty would it need it?

  • but pork is under cooked!!! you shouldn't eat undercooked pork!!!

  • @jessicavm No actually, you can serve pork with a little pink in the center. Nicko's does look a little undercooked but having a bit of color is fine.

  • Adopt me pleasee

  • Too healthy! Time for Epicmealtime! :D

  • what the hell is a "FILL-IT?" (just kidding Rob, setttle down)

  • @polowasabidog Because "Fill-eh" would make Rob sound like a Queenslander.

  • One of my favorite recipes is grilled or sauted pork chops with homemade applesauce. Serve that with some noodles and poof :)

  • i need a ray of that !

  • Ooh I haunt seen the Aussie mustard! Where did you get it rob? Safeway got it?

  • "Guess whose back? Back again? Nicko's back, tell a friend" XD
