it was in 1973... back in the hippy days. i started out in Jacksonville, lived there for a few months, then i traveled around the state. I made it to key west and then up the gulf coast to Sarasota. I was injured by a hit and run and was shipped back to St Louis with my parents to recuperate. I never made it back to Florida after that. Instead, i headed out to the west coast after i healed. But i still have fond memories of Fla., especially key west.
Wow! You made your way around the state huh? I love it here, But our home is up for sale do to them raising everything. I live 50 miles from Sarasota on the west coast. Ouch a hit and run ): I am glad you healed. I was hit one time by a robber that the police were chasing. Thank God we made it out of that one. Peace
