  • My school in ultra-liberal Seattle allows a Bible club to meet during lunch, so your persecution complex is pretty unfounded.

Also, Jefferson wasn't Christian, he was Deist. Huge difference.

  • @vaguelyhumanoid ALLOWS?????

  • It never ceases to amaze me the ignorance of those who hate the Christian faith.

@ptsocr, The lyrics of the song Imagine echo the sentiments of President Madison, so they are already up. The quotes of Thomas Jefferson, a church goer, have been up and down all over the nation. Personally I have no problem, in a public school setting, with quotes from most people. But if your going to put anyone you should not discriminate against Christianity. It is the school Board who is hypocritical.

  • How would you feel if your child learned in a classroom with posters that had quotes from our founding fathers such as "Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the Common Law." - Thomas Jefferson - or - "This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it." - James Madison ? I would hope you would support such posters....or else accept that you are a hypocrite.
