This is a mixed form. there is Xinjia yilu, laojia yilu, and then it ends with a truncated set of Pao Chui (cannon fist). This could be called a competition form. I wonder what he is doing today, he was amazing here.

Wow. Can you all imagine being able to do Cannon Fist when you were little kids? Shoot, I don't know adults whose TaiChi is this good. Plus, he is a KID...what little boy has the patience to practice hard, then get up in front of all kinds of people, who expect greatness because your dad is the head of the Chen clan, and still be able to perform this well? Wow. Respect to Chen Pengfei.

do you refer to his fajing, or the way his head does not lead everything, i.e. his head in line with his spine and leading to his hips - and that being the pivot for everything?

in both respects, i would put it down to age, his chi is bountiful; how can he be expected to be so patient in movements - he should be expressing his individual feel of the form, which is what he is doing.

Thanks for posting this. I have a video of Chen, Pengfei perfoming in Chenjiagou when he was 4-5 years old. Even then he showed talent. He will be awesome later in life.
