Better relations with China? The relations are so good that many Americans are without a good paying job due to China, not to mention India and Russia doing the work. Just a couple of weeks ago I peered out my window to see Mexicans checking the phone lines and cutting back brush on the side of the roads. This job, up to this year, was done by the locals. People here need money. They are poor! I had to teach one of the Mexicans how to say "phone line" when I asked him what he was doing.

In this way, it showed the communists weren't an unstoppable, united wave, and encouraged the idea that it could be contained and reasoned with.
