  • wow. I absolutely love it. do u think u could do a tutorial similar to this but has more of an everyday look to it? if so, it would be greatly appreciated! :D this hairdo is beautiful! I'm in love with the 1940's!

  • Thank you so much! Your video was so helpful! I tried this today and wore red lipstick. Awesome!

  • Very nice. Thank you for the upload!

  • That was great thanks. you look very nice ;)

  • Beautifully done, a beautiful style. I'm so happy to see so many young beautiful ladies who embrace the elegance of the 40's. Although I wasn't born until the late 40's (48), I watched all those beautiful actresses of the 40's in film with my mom as they were on TV until the 60's. I have so many good memories of the fashion and hairstyles and grace of that era, and watching those old movies with my mom.

  • I'm going to be using this so much, you have no idea. Thanks <3

  • WOW. You really do have a natural, classic beauty! Awesome!

  • Just finished trying out this style. It looks great, but I had a lot of trouble with the back. I figured out why, though. My hair really isn't that thick. -__- I ended up having to put it into a tighter bun, but it worked out pretty well. I think it's a style I'll do often. :]

  • I think I may have to try this style sometime....once I get a hairnet. lol

  • lovely :'D

  • Hey!

I was able to do everything pretty easily until I had to pin the front "puff". Could you maybe explain to me in a message or make a more detailed tutorial on it?

I hope I can do this hair do one day. I am new to retro, and first thing I learned is you cant go really retro without retro hair.

  • this is a great video. But I have extremely curly hair that does not give that smoothness desired for these pin up styles. Any suggestions???

  • i love ur videos :)

  • she looks like the girl from who framed roger rabbit. shes pretty.

  • jessica rabbit :)

  • Hey, thanks so much for the great tutorial, the style suits you perfectly. I'm hoping to try it out in the near future, although I gather it will take a little practice to make it perfect. I use very few hair styling products and I'm a little worried about hair spray (it tends to virtually stick my hair together). As soon as it dries it's impossible for me to run a brush through my hair, so I need to work quickly. ;-)

  • i can't wait to try one of these hair looks out !!

    thanks so much

  • I'm wishing I never cut my hair...I love this look, but I think my hair is way too short to pull off any 40s looks : (

  • Lol you are like a vinatage girl's dream come true...I wish I was as pale as you are.

unfortunately I have full bangs and the "pin-up" style is hard for me to do. I have NO clue on what to do with my bangs. =[

    Any suggestions?
