That's amazing. One day I read that scripture and it leaped off the page at me! Paul talked about our "gathering together...."

I had read that scripture in many prophetic books and I never saw the truth of it because of my pre-milleneum glasses. We should be waiting for the coming of Christ even now and be a wise virgen, but Paul explicitly stated that the Antichrist must first be revealed at the same time.... a true paradox....

I've heard alot of credible sources say that the rapture is a fairly new concept, possibly being as old as fifty years. I've also seen very little Scripture that supports the idea without stretching the imagination a bit. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 is not very clear about a timeline. For all we know, this will take place after all the chips have fallen. I am no preterist or partial preterist but I am trying to be very careful about this issue.
