  • 3 people are stupid...

  • @Spideyfan176653 - check an NBC documantary with him going back there only six months after the accident, he went with the ashes of his arm, that had been taken a few days after the accident, and they needed A LOT of equipment to do so.

  • WOW

  • @theaakarsh So technically his arms still there? Well if the wind or any rain didn't blow it/wash it away

  • @Spideyfan276653 Lol there would be nothing left but bone by now and it's probably long gone do to weathering over the years. Like he said if there was water it would be a water fall, but who knows, maybe the rock is still there with the bone of his forearm and hand :) I wonder if he ever went back years later to check for himself.

  • I wonder if he ever went back and looked at his arm now...

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePivotsXXD He cremated it.

  • that awkward moment when the top comment that spells his name wrong had no thumbs down and the comment that points it out has 3..

  • @MrZeldageek no. just no.

  • A man to be apreciated for his courage and will !!

  • When I watched the movie I cried because it was a happy ending and he had to cut his arm

  • i hate people saying stuff like" why couldnt he lift the boulder up or he's stupid cause he cut his arm off" he could not live unless he cut his arm off thumbs up if you hate these people

  • Aron ralston used to be a hiker then he took a boulder to the arm

  • @GoldMineGamer ur not not funny bud .

  • I have balls doing stunts and stuff but I would never have that big of balls in my entire life. shout out to aron, I'm brave but no one couyld be as brave as him (besides chauck norris or myself or the jackass crew.

  • Hey, this interview isn't 127 hours long, WAS I TROLLED!? O_o

  • what about the part where he tries masturbating, was that true?

  • @jakekel666 No

  • @jakekel666 Probably. You get lonely by yourself and you have no way else to entertain yourself. It's a natural thing.

  • Big respect and admiration for this man.

  • wow i wouldve just died

  • He didn't check the rock before he touched it.

  • the awkward moment when the top comment spells his name wrong..

  • Don't give up .. and .. do not give up ..

  • @Angleq8Girl91 Actually, he said 'Don't give up aron, do not give up'

  • @shetlandgal01 oh I thought he was saying (and) ,, thanx :P

  • I hate to admit this, but i have to say he's better than bear grylls!

  • verry brave man

  • Yo, if I was in that situation, I would've cried till I die. He's the bigger man than anyone I've ever known.

  • seriously though, if i was in this situation and i was either going to die or have to cut off my arm i would? wouldnt anyone else? not that im ever going to go adventuring into canyons after watching this movie but this guy.... legend.

  • The real Aron Ralston seems more likeable than the film version.

  • anybody else would do the same in that position though, cut your arm off or die! simple really

  • @AStarrmusic1 Die...

  • Cool story bro...

  • @TheLouisCL shut the fuck up.

  • 2 people ... urmm.. are just TWATS.

  • Heres the thing folks he still climbs, some people never learn, DONT GO FUCKING CLIMBING ALONE, tell reliable people your route and what time you will be back. he was lucky he could have easly bled to death, make sure you learn from his mistake.

  • @1965CAPTKIRK He does tell people now.

  • he's a fuckin' amazing man

  • You are my hero

  • Unbelievable.

  • well it seems like it was only a two and a half minute interview

  • This is why i always carry my cellphone

  • @georgeofnewyork like it would work in that canyon LOL

  • @KalvinKingdonsVids i have verizon

  • Perhaps one lesson would be to any adventurers, take painkillers with you. Maybe could have been ever so slightly less intense pain or could have done it a day or too earlier? Really amazing story!

  • i would cry too at the end, you know, but my mother came to my room and thought that I was masterbating, so she didnt only destroy the movie for me but also made me feel awkward as fuck.

  • truthfully,..i didnt even try to be a man with this movie,..i went ahead and started crying yo.

  • It's not just the fact that I don't know whether i'd have been brave enough to cut my arm off, I don't think I'd be able to think logically enough to realise I had to break my arm so as to cut between the break.

  • how in the holy hell did he survive with cutting the nerv

  • @thejimreaper100 to be honest,..i think the human body can do some shit when it comes to survival. How many one armed cavemen do you think there were?

  • @11033066099 very few, they would bleed to death

  • i wish i had balls like aaron

  • @OneSimpleHacker *Aron*

  • @OneSimpleHacker his balls are the size of that boulder, Aron is as brave as it gets

  • i'd love to give this guy a double high five!!!!

  • this guy is a freaking trooper i would have just slit my wrists and slowly bleed to death

  • I watched the movie yesterday.

I felt so bad for him. We cry over a paper cut and look at him. When he was getting rescued I started crying.

He might of cut his arm but at least he's still alive.

  • Kevin Bacon would have played him good too.

  • who the hell would dislike this video

  • Aron Ralston you beautiful soul. this guy's experience helped me get through my worst experience of my life, getting hit by a bus.

  • @Akiithebest

same, when I was 6, i got hit by a car...

  • @XxLaUr3nZzZxX when u were 6? wow. must've been horrible. how old r u now?

  • @Akiithebest

I'm still a little 14 year old boy...

  • @XxLaUr3nZzZxX little? your incident only made u stronger! cheers!

  • @Akiithebest

    Thanks! how old r u?

  • @XxLaUr3nZzZxX M 15, and my accident was 10 months ago :)

  • @Akiithebest > You two are so brave! Really, getting through such things is just amazing!

  • 2 DISLIKES must have attempted to hit the like button and failed

  • How the fuck can anyone DISLIKE this? This man is tremendously courageous and obviously very adept at handling the worst situation one could face. Kudos to him!

  • Likes 129 Unlikes 2 = 127

  • Check out 'Chasm of Death' episode of 'I Shouldn't Be Alive' on Animal Planet US! Incredible true canyon survival story!

  • 127 likes thats ironic

  • @no1sexgodforever umm no....

  • did he died at the mountain??

  • @no1sexgodforever of course, this is his ghost talking. i thought it was obvious

  • @BeaatrizReis i knew it!!! it is his ghost talking.... i had this debate with my little sister over wether he died in the mountain or he lived....duh!!! he died and now he's back as a ghost giving an interview ;)

  • i would have slit my wrist and died

  • @killakev9589 omg that's exactly what I thought haha

  • ....your patience and positive attitude is simply inspirational-

  • wouldn't he die by loss of blood? how did he live then?

  • @KingsofSparta he had his arm tied up to cut off the blood

  • @KingsofSparta he survived it though cause someone rescued him before he could have lost all his blood.

  • this man is my hero.

  • i know he was in the worst pain i can evet imagine cutting his arm off hope i never feel that pain

  • I was so hoping that this wasn't a true story when I first heard about the movie because seriously I already knew how painful and the amount of brain thought to work up to the pint where you have to cut off your own arm. Gah I'm sorry for Aron Ralston that this happen to him but thank god he;s ok now and actually got something wayy bigger then that boulder out of it. =)

  • That was the bad move he made- putting his hand up that split second decision changed the course of his life- listen to your inner voice ppl! all the time!

  • a true man right there.

  • I cried when he got rescued! Finally!

  • @Janthie78 I know so did I

  • Comment removed

  • i never cryied before watching movies....until i saw 127 Hours T_T i respect this guy so much!

  • this movie made me feel humble.....and to never forget how precious freedom can be ( not being trapped somewhere). After he cut his arm off and got out,and he was happy to see the everything around him,not being trapped anymore .I felt like it was me....and i felt happy with him..this movie just was way more than what i expected.

  • Words cannot describe the feeling that this film gives you. Aron's experience and his fight for survival has enlighten me with inspiration and has given me the motivation to persevere and never give up!

  • @metalheadnicoya. Fuck you Cocksucker. you think just because your name has the word metal in it ur some sort of hardcore punk. OOOH i'm tough cause i listen to whiney little bitches screaming all day. blaaaa. you couldn't cut ur own fucking pinky off if it was stuck in ur fag partner's asshole. oooh i'm so hardcore i just fast forward to the gruesome scene. yeah right. you probably cry when you get a fucking papercut faggot. Grow balls and respect great cinema and the tenacity of humanity. FAG

  • @metalheadnicoya u heartless piece of shit.

  • far out! i would have DIED if i were in his position :\

  • @AddictedToMilo I would not die I just twist my arm so it can be broke then push myself out of the rock

  • sadly this was one of the last oscar nominated films I saw but it was amazing not like that Slumdog Millionaire which still angers me today and James was so awesome

  • @HeadHipHop idiot, jealous aren't you

  • @HeadHipHop

    your a stubid little bitch

he was in a life or death situation,do you really think he was thinking about a fucking book and movie about him NO he was just trying to survive

  • James should have won this award. fucking Oscar this year sucks!

  • i love 127 hours!!!! it is my favourite movie, its so sad, im sorry aaron

  • Why didn't he just cut his finger off

  • @EliiTePaNda

the boulder was caught further up his arm, i doubt he could see his fingers from where the boulder smashed down on him hand

  • @EliiTePaNda Because he couldn't see or get to his fingers... and I don't see how that would have helped him lmao

  • He is way handsome

  • @rockelallsong Who, Franco or Aron

  • @mindylinky Both

  • pause as fast as you can at 1:27 untill the picture is blury and blackish, thumbs up if you can see and ugly face on the left hand side with big lips and banged up nose (its made up of james' shoulder and the wall of the canyon) but it looks like a sad old man to me :L

  • he broke his arm, he cut off his own arm with a tiny knife, this dudes a fucking legend

  • Franco is so cute here :)

  • okay... why would anyone dislike this? people with no heart..

  • Such a good movie, I made my way out to one of the limited theatres after seeing the trailer a bunch of times, and its just so powerful, you know for one always be smart, and tell people where you are and two just how life is precious, and the moments we have with people we know and love are like everything to us... I dunno I have yet to really want to watch it again, cause its an intense movie to watch, it really does feel real.

  • I agree. Franco did an amazing job. I'm glad you're alive Aron Ralston. Praise be to the Great Spirit.

  • 0:54 ---> Spoiler

  • @HEATTICUS182 Not really?

  • @Edrickz101 lol

  • I think he stared death in the face and said 'fuck you!' and there you go, he survived

  • spiderman franco osburn

  • :o He looks like the Sherminator!

  • That guy is a beast!!!

  • I can't even imagine going through what he went through.

  • like this if you kept your eyes open during the arm cutting scene

  • I just finished watching this movie...So well done. Not only did it make me wanna go and explore the beauty in this world it also made me apreciate those simple things we take for granted. water, telling folks where u going, treating ppl u luv as if ea day is your last time seeing'em (thats a hard one) and ...taking your mom's phone call. :)

  • if 95% of us were in that postion only 5% of us would have the guts to break are bones in our arm and then cut through it to save our selves and then climb back up the canyon but then agian 80% of wouldn't forget to tell some1 were we r going Oops

  • beautiful movie. so moved

  • I felt like i was going to throw up just watching the movie, and I was wondering how could you look at that much blood without getting sick and throwing up!!??! YOUR AMAZING AND I COULD NEVER DO WHAT YOU DID!!!

  • FUCKING STONE

  • ik its hard to do...but if i had to cut my arm off to live...i would def give it a go

  • "There is no force on Earth greater than the power to live"

Great quote and Aron Proved its meaning.

Aron is a great inspiration to all. God Bless

  • Thumbs up if you would have given up and died I know I would have

  • Champion of Newerth!!!

    Legendary!!

  • this really distugsting but it is good as well

  • I could never have done what he did!, hes very strong man

  • I always thought that cutting your arm off wouldn't be that big of a deal until I learned about the little nerve and everything else that could cause the most intense pain ever. Wow Aron has God like power.

  • @ben5leto It's not power. It's the will to survive. Survival of the fittest really. Anyone can do what Aron did in his situation, but they need to be determined.

  • Comment removed

  • @SilentPhenomed I was exaggerating when I said he has God like power, but honestly for Aron to do what he did you have to say something like that. I mean he did survive dehydration, starvation, hypothermia, blood loss, and so on for almost 6 days. He broke his bones and cut his nerve just to see his loved ones again. Seems pretty powerful to me.

  • @ben5leto he survived dehydration and starvation for a good 4 or 5 days. He was stable for 2 days. Hypothermia came later, and blood loss was only while he started hiking back out of where he was, so that was maybe a hour or two (which was reduced due to him covering the wound). It's still VERY impressive what he managed to do.

The movie portrays that he was ready to give up and die BUT had the will to live because he wanted a future, to have a son and etc. Good stuff really

  • @SilentPhenomed Yah I know that. It's amazing and the movie was amazing. And btw it was 5 or 6 days not 4 or 5 because 127 hours is 5 days and 7 hours. Just saying.

  • @ben5leto I was only roughly speaking when I said 4 or 5 days lol. He started dying by the 4th day. At first I thought the movie was going to be boring and dragged on but MAN was a wrong. To have to experience what Aron Ralston did.....man.

  • @SilentPhenomed All my friends thought the movie was going to be boring but I made them watch it and they so changed their mind and some even cry.

  • @ben5leto Lmao, talk about a rude awakening to them, eh? XD I actually didn't know about Aron Ralston's story....i mean when it was a big deal back in 2004, i was a literal no-life addict that time and blah blah ya no....it's my no-life moment, or so you could say lol. Of course, now i do more stuff rather than playing video games, and seeing this movie and hearing the story for the first time definately surprises me. The will to live can be very strong.

  • @ben5leto hi just has will

  • @ben5leto his arm had no circulation and he couldn't feel a thing when he did it

  • @hybridz10 What are you saying? because if your saying he couldn't feel a thing when he cut his arm off then you are so wrong.

  • he said himself on the interview that when he cut through the nerve it hurt like hell

  • @hybridz10 mate, i know exactly what you mean but it still doesn't mean he was just sitting thinking "this tickles" he grunts and moans while he was doing, although this wonderful guy had so much determination to stay alive that he didn't give a shit this guy is so amazing i love him!

  • @hybridz10 the part of his arm that had no circulation was the part under the boulder. he had to cut just above that. he felt it.

  • @ben5leto chuck norris

  • Comment removed

  • @ben5leto You never thought cutting your arm off would have been a big deal lmao? How fucking dumb are you?

  • @TheBeastShots As dumb as the person who takes everything literally. When I say not a big deal I meant not as painful as sticking your arm in fire. Fuck off.

  • @ben5leto Lmao.. call my a genius.. but I already assumed cutting my arm off with a dull knife would be as painful as sticking my arm in a fire..

  • @TheBeastShots I've cut myself bad by accident and I've burned myself. The burn was more painful. So when I think about when Aron was cutting his arm I just thought that if you cut it slowly it won't be too bad, but when it comes to the nerve that is extremely painful. I didn't think of the nerve at the time so I didn't see it that bad. BUT I was wrong.

  • @ben5leto So only when he mentioned the nerve did it occur to you that cutting your own fucking arm off would be painful. -__- And you can't compare the pain of cutting yourself by accident with this, because that clearly isn't the part that causes the most pain.

  • @TheBeastShots OMG shut up, it is people like you who annoy the shit out of everyone just stop arguing, I'm a junior in high school I'm not an adult that knows everything about the human body. Get out of here!

  • @ben5leto I don't know everything about the human body, but I know enough to know cutting through my arm with a cheap dull knife wouldn't be an easy challenge, let alone having the snap the bone in the right place first.

  • @ben5leto cutting your arm of not that big a deal -__- what were you thinking...

  • @manwithouthat44 I was thinking about what I was going to wear for school.
