  • Just picked up a set of these at an auction. Nice pistols

  • Nice shooting

  • Almost impossible to find one now. I will someday.

  • "you're pretty good"

  • Nice shootin', Tex!

  • @tommyv331992 No wonder it's called The Hand of God.

  • were these guns ever available in 4.75 barrel length stainless? I have not been able to locate a picture of one in that length. I like the look of the barrel being same length as the ejector.

    great shooting BTW :)

  • @me373 Do a search for 'Taurus Gaucho Gunweek' it will find a review and pictures of the Gaucho with the 4-3/4" barrel. However, it is not stainless.

  • @LowKeyLanding thanks man :)

  • Awesome!

  • bom tiro, seria mais interessante se voce nao tivesse sustentado o braço na mesa..

  • "God made them all- Colt made them equal"

  • nice shot!

  • Good shootin' partner! Revolver Ocelot would be proud!!!

  • smoov shit sun dun

  • Great shootin. Just a quick tip for keepin the gun in a good condition as far as internals, pull the hammer all the way to the rear after loading and unloading on half cock it is easier on the mechanism.

  • @tbud417 Does that apply to a firing pin system that has a transfer bar and in-frame pin? Also, I have read where the clicks of the Taurus are designed to mimic the original SAA. Does what you say apply to both the replica and the original SAA?

  • @LowKeyLanding It is really not a big deal and I was taught that for an original SAA but I apply it to all of my single actions, It may not apply to newer replicas, and if the Taurus is a 4 click system then yes it does replicate the Colt. The biggest thing that will affect the hammer and firing pin is dry firing even with the transfer bar or an exposed pin.

  • nice i got 1 hand made in usa $279!!!!

  • great shooting my friend - great pistol

  • very nice......

  • you have big hands ~:3

  • Single Action Armys look so beautiful blued, I rarely see them that way.

  • when shooting the gun you just get a far better rush than a standerd hand pistols then when reloading the diffrence between changeing or reloading a clip is just amazing

  • i dont get why all single actions arent break action

  • Mighty fine shooting. I have a 5.5" stainless Gaucho in 45 Colt. At 15 yards it'll make one ragged hole if I shoot off a rest. I did have to tweak my sights a bit to get it to not shoot left but now it's right on.

One comment, I notice you lower the hammer down from half cock without going to full cock first. Are you getting a turn ring on your cylinder from doing that?

  • @motrekrap No turn ring so far. I'll consider what you said. I did some things in making this video that you would not normally do when shooting. I had to put the pistol down several times and tend to the camera. Later I edited it to get this video.

  • damn, i'm horny now....

  • "When the chimes end. Pick up your gun, try and shoot me Curnel.... just try!"

Lovely gun. Nice action and sounds. Lucky find, eh? thanks for posting

  • Nice shooting

  • How much did the gun cost?

  • i love how you use a sharpie to hold it up haha

  • @kalentheesnowboarder $300 out of a pawn shop.

  • Gaucho! Oigaletêporquera tchê!

  • Nice shooting. Any idea as to why it was discontinued? I picked up a Ruger Vaquero this last weekend and am itching to shoot it. But I think the Gaucho is the closest to the Colt SAA of the Old West, because it come complete with the clicking sound when cocked.

  • @sabretooth75 I don't know why they discontinued it. I've heard different stories about quality control, but there's a lot of hearsay also. Mine is a good one. That's all I can say. I have an original Colt in 38-40, and the clicks are identical. I would like to have a 44-40 replica.

  • the greatest advancement in the production of firearms must surely be the invention of the magazine

  • Good Gun! one of my Favorites,Imagine if someone was in the way?.

  • isnt this gun discontinued

  • @electrichand1234 Yes, I think it is.

  • @LowKeyLanding well that sucks

  • wow, you have to eject each casing independently?

  • @supernightmaren2 Yes - that's the way it works. Remember that this was a step beyond the cap and ball revolver where each chamber had to be loaded with powder and ball. The Colt single action was a tremendous step in evolution of firearms, and is still a favorite and is probably the strongest type of frame. It is a very safe action (with transfer bar) because it requires deliberate cocking to fire. The design dates back to 1873.

  • @LowKeyLanding haha yeah, i mean i know at the time it was revolutionary, but the reloading caught my eye because that seems like something simple enough that they could have skipped two steps ahead on and made it eject the whole cylinder at once. i never even considered having to eject one-by-one on top of reloading one-by-one, but i guess you learn something new every day. thanks!

  • Nice shootin Tex

  • Damned good video, Well done!

  • Nice gun !! I have the colt single action army in .22

  • nice aiming

  • Where were you when Gen. Custer was outnumbered?

  • Uberti makes the one in the same color.

  • GOOD VIDEO

  • Thanks. It's a good gun. I'm sorry Taurus has discontinued them.

  • Love the SAA's. Have you shot any black powder through it yet? I reload Goex 3F powder, 250g Lead cast bullet with some mag primers. Im hooked on reloading black powder for my SAA's. Don't forget the great smell, and cloud that comes along with it!

  • Yes, I have. I want to make a video of it when I have time. The cloud completely obliterates the target until it clears.

  • I agree and I have nothing but praise for the Gaucho. It is the first Taurus product I owned, and I was not very familiar with Taurus before owning it. I now have several Taurus products. I saw it in a pawn shop and was attracted by the looks of it and when I examined it, I found it to be as tight and well fitted as any revolver Ive seen, which was proven out at the range.

  • mind if i ask how much you paid for it?

  • $300.00 used in a pawn shop. This was back before the Obama inspired gun craze hit. I have seen several in 357 mag at gunshows priced at $325.

  • what an amazing gun. nice shootin'! 5/5

  • Beautiful gun, if you dont like this gun you are not a gun fan simple

  • Wow, what luck. Sights are dead on?

  • Pure luck! That's how those ol' cowboys did it from horseback. Single handed too. I always try to point it at the right spot too.

  • GooD!!!!

  • One of the best gun videos I ever saw. Showing the gun, as it can speak for itself. You show, loading, reloading, function, and great marksmanship. Great video. 5/5.

  • all these are great I cant say nothing bad about any of em but I think the new colt cowboy's probly gonna beat em all.

  • dude i love taurus, i even got a pt 92, but this bastard named gladiator123 keeps talking mess on how these guns suck, would anyone else recomend a taurus????

  • If you have a PT92, the you know how good of a gun it is. Why bother with other opinions? If you are interested in a Gaucho, go to the Gunblast website, which has a very thorough review.

  • My dad has the same exact model. He prefers it to the REAL berretta he used in the army for 20+ years. Had one issue when he got it send it in and once we got it back it's been %100. He can hit real good with it too.

  • nice shooting! I love those old revolvers. I like how you put fire down range!

  • I agree. My favorite guns are from the old west.

  • You'r a GREAT shot, i have been shooting for 4 years and you make me jelous!

  • Thanks! Hope you are an NRA member.

  • Is that the Artillery version?

  • I guess that means is it case hardened? This is a blued version, very deep black. And it is pretty good artillery in any case!

  • Artillery just means it has a 5" barrel. It's the standard version, but depending on the size of the shooter's hands it could be a Quick Draw version with a 4" barrel.

  • I see. Thanks for the explanation. I was not aware of the term. Mine is a 5-1/2". They make a 4-3/4" and a 7-1/2" I think the 5-1/2" has the most eye appeal.

  • THIS GUN, IS THE BEST GUN EVER

  • ace shooting dude keep it up well done

  • thanks

  • if your realy a tarus man, get a raging bull lol

  • I have a Raging Bull in 454 Casull. See my video of it. I did not set out to be a Taurus man, but I'm hooked.

  • pretty SICK shooting there. Nice.

  • yippe-ky-yay mother fucker!!!

    that was some good shootin!!

  • damn dont fuck with this guy u saw his aiming

  • Gaucho's suck get a uberti for about $360

  • I looked at your Uberti video and it was all still pictures. Not very convincing. I wonder, will it shoot and can you hit anything with it? I dont mean to bad mouth Uberti. Im sure its a good gun. But, I wouldnt trade my Gaucho for it.

  • i havent made an actualy video review and if your a taurus man thats fine i just heard a lot of reviews that the gauchos are bad but as long as it works and is accurate then its fine ,if you live near vermont we can have a shooting contest to see!!

  • Not alot of recoil. Its the best gun ever made according to REVOLVER OCELOT

  • Truer words have never been spoken. Revolver Ocelot.

What a guy. Ricochet Master from what I hear. Something weird with his right arm, but nothing serious I guess.

  • @sonicsnake9 Oh thank god I'm not the only person that thinks that!

  • @sonicsnake9 Six bullets. More than enough to kill anything that moves.

  • @sonicsnake9 SNAKE: THIS IS A HIGH CLASS WEAPON, IT'S NOT MEANT FOR SHOOTING PEOPLE :o

  • this gives me a hankering to unravel me some cartridges!

  • very nice shooting...but if anyone is going to buy one i recommend testing the action closely before purchase...i bought a new "groucho" and the pistol didn't even index...read the blogs on the net before you make your decision...taurus products can be a gamble....many others had the same problems .

  • Mine is one of the tightest, well functioning revolvers I have ever seen. It was used when I bought it. I wonder, have you tried to lubricate it or disassemble it to find the problem? One would think that mass produced parts would have a good level of consistency. Out of curiosity I would like to see some of these guns that are causing problems.

  • i bought 2 gauchos...the first one was incredible.... being into cowboy reenactments i wanted a duel rig...so i ordered another 4 3/4 in blue and it was exactly the opposite...the finish was nice but the mechanics were like it was a "friday after a beer lunch" produced pistol... my gunsmith reworked it (over 100 bucks) and he had to replace some parts and do some serious filing and such...but rumors indicate that the early made gauchos were excellent vs the latter stuff.

  • I know that can happen just as you describe. Quality of products can have peaks and lows. Some of the issues would be experience level of the work force, turn over rate of employees, motivation to produce quality, diligence of the quality control team, not to mention the machinery and process control involved, etc. These things can come together and cause real problems. Its hard to believe a manufacturer would let glaring defects pass.

  • quality contol is the key to these issues...but i read an article from "guns of the old west" (i think_) that the fellow that was overseer and design tech/engineer was from the colt custom shop...which is why the gaucho was awesome at first...your gun is probably one of those models...some say the gun had the quality of a $1000 gun...including real case hardening vs. case "coloring" that is practice from other manufacturers...but the taurus is a great piece once it's tuned.

  • Nice. I want also a stainless matte from Budsgunshop for $425 . How much did you pay for and where?

  • I paid $300 out the door at a pawn shop for a used one in like new condition. Not a great deal, but it saved a few bucks. I've since seen it in 357 and 5-1/2" and 7-1/2" for $325 new. I wanted 45 Colt.

  • Thanks buddy. These days , sure lots of people pawn their guns to get some cash. I,am gonna look around .

  • I noticed this weekend that the 357 Gaucho had gone up to $359. I also saw two blue Gaucho's in 45 Colt, just like this one for $450 each.

  • impresive

  • 5-1/2" barrel length??

  • Yes, it's a 5-1/2". I would like to have a 7-1/2" to go with it, but the 5-1/2" is probably the best balance, in my opinion.

  • thanks for the reply. i am looking to purchase one.

  • 5-1/2"

  • Até que enfim a Taurus resolveu adotar o single action. Interessante seria, se fosse apresentado no calibre 22, já que este do video não nos permitem adquiri-lo. Coisas desses governantes...

  • I agree. It would be a good single action in 22 caliber.

Concordo.

  • I apologize for not commenting. I can't seem to get utube to post my comments. You are right, this is a sweet gun. It feels just right. I have almost bought a 357 myself. The 45 has consistent accuracy, but I have not grouped it. See the Gunblast review on it for grouping. Shooting metal plates is fun because it clanks and falls over.

  • Revolver Ocelot's gun, sweet!

  • cool

  • comment me back

someone smart please help me jM

  • Youtube comments does not work for me except on rare occasions. Sorry. Youtube needs to correct this problem!

  • achei legal, e vc tem boa pontaria .. parabens XD

  • Seems like a great gun. I'm looking into buying the .357 version. What kind of groupings do you get with that?
