P&O Pride of Bilbao Portsmouth Bilbao Ferry - Review

The Pride of Bilbao ship is in Falmouth having a re-fit and will be returning to service in the near future, but not sure what route the ship is taking at the moment

its sad but way things are now we exspect i just hope she comes back in to service again on the same route wish i had the money to rescue her services used this 4 reguler trips to spain to drive down to vigo spain best ferry ever even in a force 10 storm

Saw her leave Portsmouth last night for the last time, destination Falmouth. There were 15 or so people at the round tower to wave her off. I posted the video on here. Sad she left so late, she was scheduled to leave around 6pm but had engine trouble. It was almost dark by the time she got to round tower. Very sad to see her go with such a small send off. I like your video. I was lucky enough to visit the bridge and the engine room a few times and the prisons great fun

ive been on this vessel many times its great like to try it tho in gail force winds on the bay of biscay sometime after 15 pints

I have been on this mini-cruise about 25 times over the last seven years or so, been on it 4 times this year already and am booked on it's very last sailing on 25-28 Sept. I'm really going to miss it once it stops.

The crew and ship are great - also love watching the whales and dolphin which we see EVERY trip!

Me an my family have bin on this atleast 6times and are going again on the 11th of august with my friend who ive known since i was in nursery and my mum and his mum shall bee funny and this ship willbe missed its has bin classed one of the biggest carry ferries and has bin the most luxurios ever :)

Funny, when you are on it, feels much, much bigger. Great crew and ship. Sailed on her sister vessel in the Baltic, too.

That's a shame. We were hoping to use it again next year. I suppose Brittany ferries will be laughing now, and will rake it in with their Plymouth/Santander run.

I hear that 'Pride of Bilbao' is being decommisioned this year. That's bad news, I was planning to use it this year to get to Spain.

Yep that's right. They're all very disappointed at P&O that couldn't find a replacement. If you want to unplug for a few days I would highly recommend it. No internet on board - enforced relaxation!!!

I have a trip on this ferry in among my plans, so this is a great video to see, but I do feel sorry for the Stegosaurus!
