No real gamer cares about stuff like that, it's good for old ppl in nursing homes, patients for therapy, and for kids. Every idea comes from something, of course every company is gonna rip ideas from others, that's how it is. Wii was geared towards kids, and started out with a major gimmick, of course it would outsell the rest.

The Play Station was a concept for the SNES to have a CD add-on with exclusive games. Instead it was then turned into the stand-alone console Play Station which was supposed to be able to play both PS games and SNES games. Nintendo then scrapped the idea and Sony decided to make an attempt at getting into the market and thus, the PlayStation was born.

@zerounite the ps move works waaaay better than the wii's sensor bar, the only problem is that there were no good games for the ps move... I have to admit that sony stole the idea but made it better. I just wish that the wii U had better controllers instead of using the lame wii-motes. If nintendo would just try to make a console for everyone (like they did before gamecube) they would have my approval, but they sell the product to grandparents and children (mostly).

How about, free online play, widely supported that's on par with Sony's PSN. (at least) No more games with gimmicky motion controls, that usually end up feeling awkward. I'd like to see them focus on dominating with a machine that's extremely powerful and has many good games, that aren't just first party. But, if they release their 8th gen system now, Sony and Microsoft will have some time to one up their creation.

I just got back from the future and have to say after Playing the Nintendo Revolution that Pokemon Razzmatazz Version and Malachite Version is pretty good and also the next Super Mario Game is called Super Mario Atom and it takes place in the micro Universe.

As long as they get rid of the ridiculous motion controls and update the hardware, I would consider buying it. The only reason they sold so many Wii "consoles" is because it was a cheap, family friendly alternative to actually good console games that the 360 and ps3 offered. And yes the specs will probably be better but that is only because the technology is 5 YEARS OLD. Good luck Nintendo when Microsoft and Sony release another console and you're left with another sad excuse for a console.
