And (continued from last comment)3. the tempurature changes. As you enter/exit the tunnels, the noise goes up and the tempurature changes, causing an increase in humidity but a decrease in tempurature to sometimes areound 20 degrees farenheight. All in all it combines to make this ride such an experience that even if you got off terrified, you want to ride it again.

Also it is Important to note that there are things that you can only partially percieve through this video. A Beast ride is all about three things 1. the consistancy of the speed. The beast holds its speed like no other coaster in the country. 2. the noise. Wooden roller coasters are notoriously loud. But none are louder than the beast. It jups up and down on the tracks and this feeling of moving up, down, left and right, changes entirely depending upon where you sit on the train.

I worked on the beast in the past. Its important to not that all the speed from a roller coaster like this (any roller coaster like this) comes from the weight of the pople in the cars and the weight of the cars. therefor if you see other vids of this coaster and it is going about 30 mph. thats why. its an empty train. I have ridden it with nobody else on it and it sucks lol

@alisun6shine There r several shady spots, resturaunts, etc. that u can go to until everyone's cool. However, we're going in August, so it should be cooler then. My personal advice would be to go with friends because it's much more fun. I'm also taking my grandmother, so we have to rest every once in a while. Hope this helped :)

first of all, the rough and tough, shaky aspect of the ride is what makes it awesome. Second of all, you haven't REALLY ridden this ride until you have rode it at night. The Beast at night blows any other roller coaster out of the water, dead serious.

God I hated this... extremely rough, bumpy and loud, and I got off with a headache and a bruise on my forearm. My best friend rode it with me (this was actually her first coaster, and first visit to an amusement park) and she's underweight/ shorter than usual, and she ended up on the floor of our car, terrified. An awful experience! ):

You thought this was rough? They would have hauled you off in a stretcher from the Mean Streak. That ride is a two minute long car accident, even after they slowed it down. I could only ride that 4 times in row before I called it quits. The rough ride is part of the fun. It's not a thrill ride if you don't feel as if the car will derail at any second.

Sure this ride is long and a classic but it really doesn't look THAT good in terms of wooden roller coasters. I mean, haven't they ever heard of airtime hills? It looks like it has only one or two of them on a mile and a half long coaster. They seemed to have sacrificed better thrills for a longer coaster. But all that aside it still looks fun.

i rode this with my friend and her phone flew out and hit the seat in front of us it like slid up and it was right at 2:14 when it flew and then at 2:26 i had to get it and i had to put my hand on the hand rail thing because she was looking for it too and she was gonna hit her had i knew it because when you hit the lift hill it like slams you down but she didn't :D

This is not as good as Voyage because there's no airtime hills. But I still LOVE THIS RIDE. My favorite coaster ever.
