@luthmhor NOT true, those "high pressure cylinders" are apprx. 1/4" thick and spun formed (no seam) so YES they can "contain a blast".

@hunter69denys The ball would weigh like 20lb or more to match the diameter of the tank (i think), the amount of powder needed to launch it would be immense. I agree that it might be able to handle one or two or maybe even three launches, the blasts would seriously mess with the integrity of the vessel. 1/4" isn't very thick for a cannon, Most cannons have a blast chamber much thicker than 1".
