When i learnt this song i thought of using to the B & E strings in the chorus in for the bends but i really cant hear it on the cd i just hear it using the B string. but using the B& E strings Cuts through the mix a tonne more.
I'm sure you know this, but if you play the second half of that pre-chorus line with a D shape on the first 3 strings you can conveniently end the last note on the e and b strings, bending the b string to the correct pitch. Just sayin. I think I hear that on the recording. (Not that I'm one to play it exactly like the recording every time)
@ZachDRUMMOND Haha -- you're exactly right. Actually just played it in a set and realized I neglected that part in the video. Thanks man...you always seem to have my back!
Hey these tutorials are great! I am a worship leader and they really help me teach my band mates. I was wondering what software you use to write your guitar tabs? That would really help get all my guitarists on the same page! Thanks for all you guys do!
Do you know the song Huge by Youth Alive WA?

Is this overdrive coming from your Red Snapper Clone, pure amp gain, or your SHO clone?

@jordandcarson Straight from the amp -- all I have in front of it is the analogman bicomp, which pushes the amp a little.

@NatedogsYouchoob Agreed...the more I play it, the more I'm tweaking those little parts...haha...
NewLifeChurchWorship 10 months ago
@NatedogsYouchoob That's because the bend part in the chorus is a keyboard sound and not a guitar sound :)
It sounds great with the double stop bend on guitar so whatever works for your band in your situation!

@ydoccm15 we use GuitarPro for our tabbing -- it's very helpful! Thanks for the question!
