Years ago, a black widow was hiding up in the handle area of one of my trash cans. After garbage day, I pulled the can to the side of the house from the curb and later, I walked by and saw the spider. It had built a web all the way to the ground. It easily could've bitten my hand. I remember thinking, "...fuck...." Woulda been a nice trip to the hospital if I had crushed down on it w/ my hand.
