@8nguy Yes it's the "N1 style" eBay catback. Definitely sounds good with stock headers/y-pipe/cat. I'll be changing that muffler though when I throw on this eBay y-pipe because I don't think the one on there now will handle the rasp that catless y-pipes add. The new muffler is resonated on the inside so it should be fine.
@Che1seabluesdr0gba11 Hell yes it is. For the $175 shipped I paid I really couldn't be happier. I'd only be happier if the muffler sat closer to the bumper hole but it doesn't matter since that muffler is going to be replaced soon anyway lol I'll have the shop fit the new muffler better and I'll be installing an eBay 2.25" cattless y-pipe as well.
@chrisman287 of course not the car! just the muffler, but that can always be changed... megan racing sells nice mufflers (the oval kind, not N1 style like yours) as well as dynomax, flowmaster, magnaflow etc. they usually come with a 3 inch tip which is the perfect size for this car and range between $50-100
@carsnwomen91 I got an Greddy EVO2 knockoff from an Eclipse off Craigslist for $20 and it'll be going on soon with an eBay y-pipe that's sitting in my basement.
@chrisman287 good buy... make a vid with the y pipe. i'm assuming it will be a bit raspy but perhaps that new muffler will fix that common problem with unequal maxima performance y pipes.
@carsnwomen91 Funny you say this, check this, oem shortys, warpspeed y, oem cat, cattman b & resonator and oem "bosal" muffler .... lol ... you haven't heard raspy ...
@xPREDICTIONx post a vid... it shouldnt sound that bad if you have a resonator. i got a vid of my setup. ws y pipe, 2.5 inch cat and a simple resonated cat back.

All fart cans look ricey. I wish the muffler sat more flush with the bumper hole, it wouldn't look as bad that way. At least is sounds good..
