I've been rapping for 6 years now and am getting myself a fan base in my city, I've had the chance to do a fair few gigs in Brisbane, my home city and was lucky enough to open for Hopsin and SwizZz when they came out here. I dont know if its illegal based on fear, racism or greed, but I do know that we as americans can stand up &vote for our rights. I voted 4 it to be legalized last election& I respect anyone who believes enough in it to vote as well.
Cannabis was made illegal in 1936, in the United States at least, backed by oil companies, producers of pharmaceuticals and other influential mega-corporations making a profit from resources that are easily replaceable by the many uses of the cannabis/hemp plant. Not only was cannabis made illegal in fear and greed, but also in the name of the "all mighty" dollar. Also to start a multi-trillion dollar war on drugs. Cannabis being the poster child of said, obviously, failed war..
It baffles me how the prohibition of alcohol didn't even last as long as the prohibition of marijuana, yet alcohol is responsible for more deaths than cannabis ever could achieve. It is IMPOSSIBLE to die from cannabis, unless you're allergic, which is rare.
It’s the work week, & most normal people are at their job contributing to society. But what are chronic potheads like pf0rc33n11 doing? When there was a pot shortage in Australia a few years ago, potheads would wrap their mouths around the exhaust pipes of idling cars, just to get the sensation of inhaling from a bong. @cdubsell Don't get me wrong; I been a Cypress Hill fan since day one. I even saw them live in Atlanta where they were almost shut down by the mayor and the police because they "promote drug use". So they agreed to "tone it down" a bit and they removed all the pot leaves off the stage. @cdubsell Don't get me wrong; I been a Cypress Hill fan since day one. I even saw them live in Atlanta where they were almost shut down by the mayor and the police because they "promote drug use". So they agreed to "tone it down" a bit and they removed all the pot leaves off the stage. Then after the 1st song was over, B-Real was like "fuck this" and behind him this huge poster unrolled down and it was a pot leaf and they continued the show. The crowd went crazy. I just don't like this song...
