They aren't made anymore so they are collectible.  That makes them more valuable to people who want them so those people are willing to pay more to get them :D

Actually, in the anime you would never think that their wands would be plastic. At least not this kind of plastic. The plastic that makes it look like such a toy. But then what would they be made out of?

In the anime we don't know anything about the material of sailor moon's wands... but in the manga we know that the Kaleidoscope Moon is made by glass.

So here's a question, is there any difference between the original release of this wand compared to the SailorMoon World release? It seems to be the case for just about every toy but I've not heard this wands version so I have no idea. Any thoughts?

Since you asked this quite a while ago, I don't know if you've already found the answer yet, but I'll do it anyway. XD There are only 2 differences between the orignal and the world version. The world versions "kaliedoscope" is a darker pink, and when you press the first button, the attack music plays twice with no stops. With the original, you press the button twice. Other than that, they're pretty much the same.

I THINK you can make it light up while playing the song if you hold down the bottom button after pressing the top one...
