I think these early days were the reason that I could never warm up too much to Jack and Jennifer. They were cute together and I'm glad that they were happy but when I saw Jack all I saw was the spoiled rich boy who was so obsessed with Kayla that it drove him over the edge and he raped her.

Someone needs to buy Jack a clue. You find "your Wife" in a hotel room with a half naked man( with whom she has a past) wearing only a shirt and you think she was kidnapped. yeah right.

LoL...I know, huh? And Kayla's face when Jack suddenly grabs and hugs her is priceless.
I totally remember waiting in agony for Steve and Kayla to, somehow, get back together. And when they FINALLY did, it was a two parter, and I waited those days at school, obsessing, and sprinted home to see what was on my VHS tape for that day. It was the best and most rewarding agony EVER! Those who got to experience this kind of soap are lucky--it'll never be like that again.

No, it never will. But I'm so fortunate that I had Steve and Kayla too. I love them still.
Always will. Stephen and Mary Beth are excellent...I'll follow them to any show either of them goes to.
