To solve your problems multiplayer is not possibles without a key because you have to register that key on the internet so this is a illegal version so it wont work. Thats why alot of the new PC game require you to have a constant internet connection to play even if its only single player like assassin creed 2. So this kid doesn't know what hes talking about.
