after finalizing the DVD, use a DVD ripping software like Xilisoft to convert the DVD to a movie file.

it's not working, I downloaded something called 'Xilisoft DVD Ripper Ultimate 5 (Unregistered)' and I put the finalized disc in and it says 'The selected DVD folder is invalid, please choose another one.'

can you tell me the DVD ripping software you use? And maybe send me a personal message with the link to download the software??

I'm using Xilisoft DVD Ripper 4 (not the Ultimate one) 'cause I also encountered problems on the version that you have.

Get Xilisoft DVD Ripper 4 and register it for it to be fully working properly.

hey can you delete scenes on yours i have the same camera and it says edit scenes is not available on this disk.? do i have to buy more expensive mini dvds to have this feature>? please reply..anyone help!!!!!!!!!

i think if you set a mini dvd-r to vr record mode you'll be able to delete scenes. or if you have a mini dvd-rw. setting dvd record mode on a mini dvd-r won't let you delete scenes from the disc so be careful when recording. hope this helps.

ok hold up i kinda got what you meant i do have a mini dvd-r not rw so how do i set it to vr mode.?

the menu option whether to choose vr or dvd record mode should pop right away after inserting the mini dvd. but i'm not pretty sure if it will apply with a mini dvd-r since i always use mini dvd-rws. i suggest you buy mini dvd-rws, it'll save you some cash.
