his work is so fantastic... i've seen hundreds of pieces in person. if your opinion is negative... you are just frustrated and jealous!!!! all art is taken bits and parts from other artists... so what... he does it well and with passion!

What is it with these Bama artist, they all dip in the same pool, and none of from Dial on down have any originality at all, it's like a plane full of Jansen art history books was dropped out over rhe state a few yeasr back and we get a second helping of neo expressionist barf all over again-southern style,golly
Michael Banks is an up and comer in the art world and obviously there are those who are jealous. I was Matt's dealer for 5 years and can tell you that Michael's paintings are not reminiscent of that work at all. His art crosses the boundaries of "fields" of art, which is the litmus test for all successful works.
