So if you're adding a rational EXPRESSION you multiple by a "creative 1". Such as a thing over itself. But if it's a rational EQUATION you multiply by the common denominator over 1?

Just trying to make sure that I am clear. I just came from one of your videos on rational equations and you did it differently than this one. I just wanted to make sure I was clear on that rule.
