  • akarnya lagu ini dari ambon-maluku.

  • So a bunch of Malaysian and Indonesian is "discussing" which country does this song belongs to while this beautiful rendition is sang by a Japanese? Let's just enjoy it and just be it, the song belongs to people who knows how to appreciate it. Peace people~~

  • too many indonesian aliens in malaysia..they brought the culture to malaysia thus it blends in. if indonesian doesnt come to malaysia it would not happen.. the song sounds like shit anyway

  • haha bodohnya malaysia meng-claim ini punya malaysia..... jelas-jelas bahasanya pake maluku-language. XD

  • 1 person never felt "rasa sayang"

  • since when malayan language use word 'nona'

  • this Rasa Sayang with Pantun is TRULY MALAYSIA, you indonesian bastards!

  • @oshkoshbgood if ur country don't have any culture'

dont steal other country's. Look happen to batik... still want to claim them?

  • I bet she don't know how many times i've laughed for hearing this.

  • nice, she can sing this song very well.. very good :)

  • When I was in primary school I learned that this song is from Maluku. Can somebody tell me since when Maluku is a part of malaysia?

  • when this song started out neither indonesia nor malaysia exists....maluku island exist.....both malaysia and indonesia share common cultural and to some extant historical heritage.....divided by england and dutch in 19th century .....malays are native to malay peninsula as well as parts of indonesia...this song is malay heritage and both indonesia and malaysian heritage. but small minded indons make big issue out of nothing

  • @nirwana07 so you by that reason, you want to acquire rasa sayange as part of your folk songs? you fail dude. Small minded maloons like you make big issue out of nothing. Why don't you use your own folk song to promote your country?? There will be no big issue if you used your own song rather than using other people's song.

  • @nirwana07 well then tell me why maluku is in Indonesia now. Since maluku is in indonesia, then this is rightfully indonesia's. Btw u malaysia keep on finding excuse to steal indonesian culture. why?

  • Fuck the origins, just enjoy the fucking song.

So what if it came from Malaysia or Indonesia?

    Big fucking deal.

  • hmmm have u guys pay attention to the last part of the song, i can heard some conversation. is it accidentally caught on tape or they do it on purpose? seems someone is trying hard to gather all the kids for recording.... :D

  • cool lisa ono!! i sing this song everyday when i was in kindergarden !! indonesian really loves this song!! that's why we angry when malaysian tourism board using this song for malaysian tourism advertising...it's like "visit japan commerciall , but you using korean song" its so sad... so MALAYSIA ! • i like thisss...

  • i dont care its an indonesian or malaysian song or even a song from mars. the point is lisa ono made a great cover of this song. lets just listen and appreciate it guys.

  • lagu indah dari indonesia.......saya bangga dengan lagu ini

  • musisi luar aj mau cover terus di aransemen ulang kenapa musisi kita gk ad yg mau, mau nya bikin lagu sampah

  • before you guys arguing, please take note that Lisa Ono is covering many Asian songs in her album ASIA. Rasa Sayange and Bengawan Solo is two of her covers for Indonesian song. Please take note that COVERING SONG is different with MENJIPLAK.

  • my name is nanda im from indonesia , lets war

  • very popular Malay song(Nusery Rhyme) among kids in Indonesia,Malaysia and Singapore.Nicely sing by the Japanese girl.Good work.

  • @gusgemba this is 100% indonesian song,... malaysian n singapore = wtf no offence

  • it's a great song still...no matter where it's from. You're still listening to a japanese singing, so why argue?

  • Kasihan orang yang suka jiplak-jiplak budaya bangsa lain..

  • THIS IS INDONESIAN FOLK SONG! GREAT!

  • This song is Original from Indonesia

The Creator of this song is Paulus Pea.

  • since when malaysian called a woman with "nona" ?? it's mollucan's language!

  • This is a Malaysian folk song and was used in promoting tourism of Malaysia. However, it was made controversial by the Indonesian Govt which claimed it was from Indonesia. Whatever it is, it is still a beautiful piece...

  • To @fund4ment - Fuck your mother fucking whore! I don't see I comment anything rude, you moron piece of shit!! Lick my shoe!

  • @tangteckjoong

What should you know is Indonesia is a country comprised of many islands and is known in the world because it is very rich in culture. Each island has a distinct cultural and linguistic differences. And Rasa Sayange is a folk song from one island in Indonesia, Maluku. The lyrics of this song is clearly a lyric from Maluku languages.

  • @tangteckjoong

This song is a folk song sung by generations since the first to express their affection for the environment and socialization among the people of Maluku. Viewed from any aspect of the concept of the "Nusantara", Malaysia also can not claim ownership of the song. Because the concept of the "Nusantara" in Indonesia and in Malaysia is VERY DIFFERENT!

  • @bellebelly1313 you have made a clear argument; different conception of NUSANTARA. Also for notice that we're opposing Malay government cultural-politic policies and not the peoples, that is clear, we re pacific peoples! Any way such a beautiful voice and vibes that Ono gave, so enjoy the music please!:)

  • @juicysaucy

Yes indeed, it is a beautiful piece. We the Indonesian people feel honored if any other countries admire the culture of our country. You sing so-so, but please do not take the culture of our country and demanded ownership. It's theft! It's a high crime rate!

  • nice indonesian accent, great euphoria <3

  • GREAT!!

  • awesome
