by the way, toss the feathers is not by the corrs, it's a traditional irish reel.. they just played it, not wrote it :)

you are good at playing :) your fingers are good. You should only use rolls, slides and taps.. Search on youtube for irish embellishments (if you haven't searched yet) and you'll find some good lessons...If you want you can also check my channel: I'm not a good player, but I use the right embellishments and the music sounds really irish :)

It sounds in the right key, but you shouldn't use a C whistle..

Try it with a D or play it a major second down with that one and you will feel and sound better.

yeah, it's just hard to play in general... it's because this whistle is actually in the wrong key. try playing it on a D whistle, it'll work better

Very nice! How long have you been playing the tin whistle?

I'm learning the whistle too, and I also bought the sheets for this song, but I play it (quite poorly, but improving) on a D whistle. I think it's easier, and I'm pretty sure Andrea Corr plays this song on it, on The Corrs Unplugged. Just play low D instead of low C, the one you can't reach, and it (surprisingly) doesn't sound bad. I also wouldn't try to play the same note triplets, they're really tricky on the whistle!
