  • What is the sound that kicks in at 3:53 and ends at 4:00?

  • @mooneyefilms1 sounds like a cello/doublebass slide with timed volume cutoff.

  • @Flashmasta12 Thank you! You evidently know your stuff! :D

  • GOD DAM SOUNDTRACK

  • 4:19 so amazing

  • You're waiting for a train..

  • @cBksfree2rhyme ...a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you don't know for sure.. But it doesn't matter. How can it not matter to you where that train will take you?

  • @cBksfree2rhyme You know where you hope this train will take you, but you don't know for sure. But it doesn't matter. How can it not matter to you where that train will take you?

  • 3 words....AWW--MAZE--ING!!

  • Every time 4:20 rolls around, I just feel amazing...

  • Littlekevin89

    Hell no

  • Why do people always have to comment on why there are dislikes? Can't people just face the fact that not all people like the same music as they do?

  • @lilttlekevin89 because if they don't get top comments. they wither and die!

  • Every time I go to Wal-Mart everybody just stands there, looking at me.

But I don't give a shit because they are just friggin' projections of my subconscious.

  • @TermsOfProduction Way to steal the Top Comment off of another video... Think we wouldn't notice?

  • @TermsOfProduction lol that was top comment on another vid

  • Hey this is not the track "Projection" this soundtrack is in the original movie soundtrack list, and it's name is "Old Souls"

  • @cutiehiha No. This is not "Old souls". If you have been listening to the full OST, you should notice that some tracks actually sounds the same on a basic level.

  • @BeyondSatisfaction There are some sections in most songs of the OST, which are in more than one song. I agree that "Old Souls" and this one do sound a bit similar, but this song definitly is called "Projections" as it can be found with this name on the Inception website.

  • Damn it... Mal disliked the video. Sorry guys, couldn't stop her =(

  • @lavignefan123 Mal, goddamn it! Don't do this!

  • 1 person is projection

  • @It9LpBFS37

    is Mal -.-"

  • Someone accidentally pressed the dislike button

  • Auditory magic.

  • can you imagine some of your favorite movies withouth the soundtrack to go along with them? amazing how important the music is with all these great movies

  • Pour a glass of milk in slow motion to this, PB & J will never be the same.

  • i think this plays in the beginning, idk why it's called projections....guess the titles don't mean anything, it's always tough naming songs i guess :P

  • @ChipsALaChocolat

    :/

It's called projections because of the projections created in the dream world of the subconscious.

  • that phrase on the movie poster "Your mind is the scene of the crime" made me think that this was a crime/mystery movie, which made me interested

as i was watching it in theaters, i was about to walk out because i couldn't get the story!

when the movie ended, i was relieved that paying about $6 (if i remember right) for the ticket was worth it.

  • @MrFTW733 What are you exactly trying to say? Are you saying you didnt like the movie? Well thats your opinion in my opinion it was very very easy to understand, and I'm some teenager! I mean its so weird how it seems as if adults just didnt get the movie. Thats what I dont get. I loved this movie though!! Best movie ever!!!! Oh and please if I offended anyone in this post please dont get mad. I was not trying to offend anyone I promise.

  • @gamerchickawesomness

when you read the last part of my comment, that means i really liked the movie. =)

  • @MrFTW733 Okay, just making sure. One of the absolute best movies ever made in history!!! Like this if any of you agree. Or you can just agree in your mind and you dont have to do that. :)

  • Hans Zimmer can make you watch a movie a hundred times.

  • 4:50

Arthur gets shot in the head!

  • - Are you destroying those parts of his mind?

    - No no, they're just projections

  • i learn more about the movie and more inside things every time i watch it

  • What's the song when aurthur is shooting fischers projections

  • @xPancakes4lyf 'Don't Think About Elephants'. It's a bonus track and is played on the rotating gravity fight scene in the hallway.

'Mombasa' is played when they're in the warehouse in Yusuf's dream and Arthur is shooting projections from the window.

I'm not sure which one you meant.

  • @RoserraTheVixen and mombasa is also played when cobb is being chased, through mombasa.

  • the begining is a little scary to me, especially when your all alone in the dark O,O

  • 37 people are not afraid to dream. I acutally voted on the people who voted up.

  • which track plays when the armed projections are seen fron the window when they are interrogating fischer? It plays when arthur picks up the scar and starts shooting them throught the warehouse door.

  • why the hell aren't these songs on the soundtrack??

  • No people have brought projections in the dream. XD Great soundtrack!

  • AWW-MAAAY-ZZZZZ-INNNNNNNG!!

  • I REALLY wanna just slap a projection right now.

  • what is the score called that starts at 0:09 - 0:15 it goes high to low

  • @mlb953359 PIrates of the Caribbean ?? maybe...it sounded like that to me. hah.

  • After lots of responses of people explaining that those tracks actually are in the movie, I watched it again. You're all totally right. Thanks for your correction.

You definately seem to be bigger fans of this absolutely great movie than me! ;)

Oh and thanks for making me watch it again. The more times I watch this movie, the more I love it! =]

  • @lavignefan123 yeah, this soundtrack is definatly in the begining of the movie with Mal showing up, then Cobbs infiltration, theaft of Saitos secrets and Cobbs escape from Saitos Henchmen.

  • @thornbadd It really sounded like The Dark Knight to me.

  • @lavignefan123 One never notices the entire track until one begins to search for it within the film. :)

  • At 2:44 get ready to rob a liquor store!

  • life takes death gives is a great sequel to this

  • Don't listen to this song while trying to put in your lenses: It won't go together.

  • and this was in the film. it was at the very begining. where Cobb and Authur are in Sayto's mind.

  • Why are the bonus tracks not on the soundtrack that is for sale?

  • @Glamrgrl104 Because, if I remember correctly, they were not in the movie.

But they are downloadable for free on the Inception Website.

  • @lavignefan123 But "Don't think about Elephants" is in the movie. The part just when the van drives off the bridge, and the camera shows Arthur rising up in his seat while the soundtrack makes a rising sound at the beginning of the song.

  • @lavignefan123 they were in the movie. This whole scene is the first part of the movie involving Saito's dream. The reason these tracks aren't in the soundtrack is because either someone campaigned for them or it was a marketing strategy of some kind, to get people more excited about the film.

  • @CryptogramPictures I believe they aren't in the OST because they were slightly modified for the movie(some parts cut out/added to parts from other tracks etc.). OSTs are usually the unedited original score.

  • @lavignefan123 yes they were in the movie. this plays during the beginning of the movie and the dream collapsing scene . the official score with "dream is collapsing" is not exactly like in the movie. this one is and the other bonus track "don't think about elephants" is during the zero gravity scene. I don't know why this isn't in the OST but I know that both tracks are exactly the same in the movie.

  • @lavignefan123 Actually they were in the movie. "Don't think about elephants" was played in the hallway fight scene. And "Projections" was in the begining scene. I don't know why they didn't put these in the soundtrack. : / Hanz Zimmer is my fav. But when it comes to soundtracks. He dosen't add every single song in the movie onto the soundtrack.

  • @SpideyAlex101 The exact version of elephants on youtube iactually plays during the attack on the snow fortress hospital. Though that is a pretty minor nitpick, and still agrees that it was in the movie.

  • @lavignefan123 These songs were in the movie. This song at the beginning started when we first saw Mal

  • @lavignefan123 They are in the movie (This one plays during the attempted Saito extraction, Elephants plays as the ice fortress hospital is attacked). Guess it's back to guessing on these.

  • @lavignefan123 Not entirely true.

The last bit from THIS exact track was used when Cobb escaped from saito's dream by killing Arthur then Arthur gave him the kick.

  • @lavignefan123

These are DEFINITELY in the movie. Projections is in the opening scene, and Don't Think About Elephants is in the hallway scene.

  • @lavignefan123 this WAS ACTUALLY in the movie instead of dream is collapsing

  • @lavignefan123 Can you do me a favor? I watched the movie and i love it like anything, but there is a track i need to find. The track plays at the hotel fight scene when gravity is becoming unstable like hell in there. After you said that the bonus tracks were not in the movie, i began to wonder which track it is since i could not find that piece of music . And by the way , this music rocks!!!!

  • @srujanthedarkknight Just watched the scene again. It should be this track I think /watch?v=R942u5PGyPc. Hope I could help you ;)

Oh and I totally agree, the soundtrack is incredibly good!

  • @lavignefan123

Do you know what the second track in the credits was/is?

  • Very nice!
