Dosu is my favorite Naruto character up to the current latest manga chapter, without a seconds doubt. He went out way too early.

And I agree with others here, he might have had a very good chance to beat gaara unless he went Shukaku mode, considering his attacks are completely unblockable by the cocky Gaaras sand defense.

This is my theory. Kimimaro was underground so he came back out through the giant bone. However, when he came out only the top part of his bodywas out (the rest was in the bone). So, he was gonna atttack but he farted. The fart had no where to escape from so it went up his body to his head causing his brain to explode. Then the fart went out through his mouth (which is why it was bleeding - it was so horrid it was like acid melting his mouth). Good tought right!?

Dosu was fast enougth but what they did not have were inner demons. You dont need to have a cursed seal to be good, look at Kakashi for example. He has no dmeon and still he kills people that have demons inside. Dosu beat Choyi and Lee the fact he battle against a master change the idea cause he was still a student.
