Stop "talking" the song and "sing" it instead. Put the guitar down and just focus on your vocals. Detected some pitch troubles, and many flat parts. Watch the "lazy" annunciations- they sound too deliberate. just my 2-cents

i've loved this song since the first time I heard it by Jose years ago; i think I almost cried the first few times hearing it.
