I listen this song as a fantasy with Death, where Death comes to Mercury to invite him to get out of his body and look from out there.
I think every song on the album Innuendo is related to Mercury's death or his way of being. Excepting "Headlong", and I notice something strange with Mercury's voice, as if he didn't like the song.
(If I am wrong with english, that would be because I'm not an English)
@fx33399 I understand yor english perfectly dear, i have to disagree with there though. I think Freddie gave his own intepretation on every queen song, with how he envisioned they should be sang. His voice does seem very weak, or maybe he's just singing in the lower register. But to me, it sounds like he's putting his heart and soul into this song. Sends chills down my spine when he sings "Let me take your hand, let me be your guide"

Ah! I had not read information about the song before, I think everybody listen it just as a Taylor's song, with a Taylor's usual subject, but now I know that version is considered.
@fx33399 Ah! I disagree with 'his voice does seem very week'. He's singing in a low register, but he's a baritone, his low notes are not weak, I think he is singing sweetly according with 'his own interpretation'.

This is bloody amazing driving music, and deserved far better than to languish as an album track. Not that the rest of the album wasn't brilliant, but, you know...
