I don't get why so many people disagree, why does everyone think that LA and Simon should have gotten the Over 30's and the Groups? Because Simon said doing the groups would be hard? Because LA said the Over 30's were the strongest?

In reality, LA connected well with many of the male contestants, all the girls love Simon, Paula is a great choreographer for the groups, and Nicole feels emotion just as the Over 30's do.

I don't see why it's such a surprise.

1 Girls- by far the best.

Let's be honest here... the likelihood of a star coming from the over 30's is just not as high as for the girls or the guys. There's some great voices in the over 30 group but c'mon record labels aren't exactly fighting each other trying to sign aging talent. They want fresh, young faces for the most part. It's obviously going to be a Simon vs LA Reid season, girls vs boys. The girls are all pretty damn talented IMO. And if the voting is anything like American Idol, the tweens will dominate.
