It's a unfortunate shitty mess to destroy that land and atmosphere and what not, but really, wind farms kill an insane amount of bats and birds yearly, more than anything else on the planet. Just look to Japan for the issues with nuclear power, Most countrys are using coal fired plants for power and they are facking huge contributors to climate change but lets not forget the billions upon billions of cars and houses consuming the energy, thats the culprit not the tar sands
