How to install Minecraft 1.7.3 Aether Mod v 1.02 tutorial

never mind right after posting that i went and deleted the meta-inf folder and still got a black screen. no idea what the problem is because anytime i install a mod other than tmi i get blacksecreen or the mod just doesnt work, but i can still play my game. any ideas? thanx anyways for the time you put into that tutorial.

i can't make the portal. when i use the bucket of water, it just acts like normal, flowing water.

Thank you! I could not get mine to install. I would get the portal up, but when i went through the screen would turn black. I had the wrong ShockAhPi.... So I am very happy YOU read the important information I did not. XD
